First, I would like to apologize to *** *** for the confusionIt appears that *** *** believes that he is our client, when in
fact he is the client of a *** *** *** for which we are a
providerThat being said, the client contacted the ***
*** *** on or
about July **, We were assigned the job for
which contractually we have hours to contact the client and arrange
for service which we didWe were very busy with similar calls and we
tried to accommodate the client as best we couldHowever he was not
amicable to our availabilityAs a result the claim was reassigned to
another provider that apparently was not able to provide the service in
the clients time frameWe we assigned the job again, on or
about July ***, We called the client and we agreed on a time of
service, we were still very busy and I chose to use my car that day
because we were backed up with callsI did not want to delay the
diagnosis any further and therefore I chose to provide the service
myselfThe diagnosis is a contractual required by the Home Service
Provider, since I knew that it was a wall unit I knew that I could
troubleshoot it it with my car with the tools I carry just for this
reasonI knew would not need a loaded stocked truck and I chose to
service himUpon arrival the client was cordial and we were mutually respectfulUnexpectedly the air conditioning unit was in an unusually high
locationSince I did not have a work truck I did not have a ladderI
asked the client if he had one and he provided it without issueWe
covered his floor and set up the ladder and I begun to troubleshoot his
Air ConditionerFirst I found a clean filter but the
Evaporator coil was completely clogged which is a clear indication of
lack of maintenanceThe filter either did not seal properly or it was
not cleaned regularly, either way the air conditioner was working
normally as expected, attempting to absorb the hot humid air from the
room but it was unable to because the evaporator coil was clogged with
debrisThe Client was not happy with my diagnosis and insisted
I measure the temperature of the evaporator coil and the cold air
leaving the unit and entering his roomI had a thermometer
with my tools in my car but since the client asked me to measure the
temperature I intuitively asked if he had a thermometer and he provided
it without issueWe measured the temperature and on average it
was degrees in and out of the unit, substantially cooler than the
ambient temperature in the roomUpon further observation I
found that the air conditioning unit in my opinion is too small for the
room it servesIt is only BTUs in a room on the 2nd floor of a
brick house with oversize windows facing the summer sun in the
afternoon, with High 10' ceilingsIn my professional opinion the
adequate size air conditioning unit for that space should be
Approximately BTUs to properly cool the spaceThe client
asked me what I was going to do and I told him that I have to report my
findings to the *** *** *** and they would make a
determinationHe insisted that I advocate for the replacement of the
unit and I told him again that I only report the findings and that they
make the decision of the service they will provide based on his contract
with themI collected the $Dollar deductible from the
client which he is contractually obligated to pay regardless of their
decision whether or not to provide serviceWe reported the job as we believed it to be trueWe recommended that the the unit be cleaned but because of the location
and method of installation of the unit it may be more cost effective
for the unit to be replaced since we would have to break it loose from
his wall to remove in order to clean itApparently his claim was denied for reasons that we are not aware of** *** is not our client but the client of the Home Service
Company of which I made him aware ofI further asked him to have the
Home Service Company send another provider to check our workWe
encourage it when a client does not agree with our recommendations and
feels that he or she was not serviced properlyShould it have
been found by another provider of the Home service company that we
indeed we made a mistake then the Home Service Company would have made
the decision based on their contractual obligation The client has unjustly stopped payment for his deductible for which he is contractually liable forSincerely, Roy V** *** President

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Allied Plumbing & Heating Corp. refuses to cooperate with the claim or issue a refund for the service which was not performed. Allied Plumbing & Heating Corp. is a scam and their business model is to get the deposit and run away with it.I am not a client of 3rd party company which Allied Plumbing & Heating Corp. has mentioned.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
