A full refund was issued. The purchase was via online payment through a debit/credit card Because we never obtained her credit card information (it was entered via the internet), we could not issue a refund to her credit card.We therefore had to wait days to verify the customer did not dispute the charge with the credit card company before we could mail her a refund via check through the US mail

As explained to the claimant, her payment(check) goes to a drop boxWe have no control over how or when the mail is delivered to that locationWe can't even verify when the claimant actually put the check in the mail to send to usShe claims to use a "Bill Pay" service, her issue may even be with themRegardless, whether it is a "Bill Pay" issue, or a "Mail Issue" the complainant issued the check, and when the check was deposited the funds were not available for payment to the party named on the check(us)Our bank charged us a $fee for this transaction the complainant is Legally Liable for as she closed her account with outstanding checks that have not cleared her bank or had a stop payment issued against themAs I personally explained to Mrs [redacted] , she should really address this issue with her "bill pay" processor, not us

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below My response to MrButler's offer using his latest correspondence to Revdex.com:To whom it may concern:We will have to agree to disagree on this matterThe Check was issued to our company and in good faith deposited(DUE TO MRBUTLER'S ACCOUNTING SYSTEM, HIS OFFICE NEVER SAW THE LOST CHECK WHEN IT WENT TO THE DROP BOX SIX MONTHS AFTER IT HAD BEEN ISSUED BY MY BANK I DID NOT OWE HIM ANY MONEY AS I HAD COVERED THE LOST CHECK AND ASKED FOR MY ACCOUNT TO BE CLOSED, SO WHY WAS IT BEING CASHED IN THE FIRST PLACE? EVEN IF I HAD KEPT MY CHECKING ACCOUNT OPEN AND PUT A "STOP PAYMENT" ON THE CHECK, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN PENALIZED FOR FRAUDULENTLY ATTEMPTING TO CASH A 'STOP PAYMENT' CHECK.) If everything the claimant is saying is true, she should have placed a "stop payment" on the check, But rather than do thisshe closed her account, knowing full well she had checks outstanding.(I HAVE DEALT WITH LOST CHECKS IN THE PAST AND THE TWO TIMES THIS HAPPENED, THEY WERE NEVER FOUND MOST BANKS WILL ONLY GO OUT SIX MONTHS ON A LOST OR STOLEN CHECK THAT STOP PAYMENT HAS BEEN IMPOSED ON ANYWAY IN ADDITION, IT DID NOT OWE MONEY TO BUTLER DISPOSAL BECAUSE I HAD SENT ANOTHER CHECK TO COVER THE ONE THAT WAS LOSTI FULFILLED MY OBLIGATION TO BUTLER DISPOSAL.)We feel the invoice is VALID, but in a one time offer, I will split the FEE with [redacted] If She agrees to make a payment of $12.50, I will absorb the rest of the bank chargesThis will be our FINAL OFFER to reconcile this matter.(THE INVOICES ARE NOT VALID THE FEE THEY WANT TO PASS ALONG TO ME DUE TO THEIR FAILED AP/AR SYSTEM ARE LUDICROUS AND I REFUSE TO PAY FOR THEIR INEPTNESS I REJECT THIS OFFER AND WILL IGNORE FURTHER INVOICES FROM BUTLER DISPOSAL THEIR BUSINESS SYSTEMS AND PRACTICES ARE LESS THAT DESIRABLE AND I HOPE THIS EXPERIENCE WILL BE PUBLISHED SO ANYONE CONSIDERING THINKING OF ENGAGING THEIR SERVICES WILL THINK TWICE BEFORE DOING SO.)Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,

It was brought to my attention, Mr*** has had multiple households placing trash and recycling out for pickup, while only paying for one location! I It was first brought to our attention by our route driver, who consequently left the material at the customers houseWe assume the customer is
aware the waste was from more than just his household, but cannot prove this beyond a reasonable doubtTherefore I will refund a partial quarter servicePlease note, and pass along to customer, our rates are as followed in accordance with our hauler permitService up to (3) cans per week of trash, and unlimited recyclingThe rate Is $every three months ($per month plus tax)We generally don't count cans or bagsWe just hove a limit ta prevent somebody from allowing a neighbor, friend or family member to put households out per week and only pay for Theft of services is a crimeWe provide a service, at a reasonable rate, and will not tolerate theft of our already low service rates

even be with them. Regardless, whether it is a "Bill Pay" issue, or a "Mail Issue" the complainant issued the check, and when the check was deposited the funds were not available for payment to the party named on the check(us). Our bank charged us a $25.00 fee for this transaction the complainant is Legally Liable for as she closed her account with outstanding checks that have not cleared her bank or had a stop payment issued against them. As I personally explained to Mrs [redacted], she should really address this issue with her "bill pay" processor, not us.
