Dear [redacted] We have received a complaint about Butler Tech’s Basic Police Academy from Mr [redacted] which has an ID number of [redacted] .Customer Concerns Mr [redacted] is concerned that the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) in London, Ohio had to reschedule its original examination date Mr [redacted] has requested a refund of tuition for training he received at Butler Tech.The Facts Butler Tech followed the OPOTA Academy manual as it pertained to the class and allowing mahoursWe did not cancel the state examRather the exam date was selected and a closing date was selected by the commander and OPOTA compliance officerIt was impossible for the OPOTA compliance officer to finish the audit in time to have the cadets sit for the originally scheduled examStudents were notified November 15"Cadets are given a student manual that covers reimbursement as well as mahoursThere was never a time the exam was postponed because of student mahours.Resolution The Director of Public Safety Education and I met with Mr [redacted] on December to discuss his concernsWe addressed all of the concerns that he brought to our attentionWe did not discuss a refund at the December meetingHe thanked us for our time and left the Public Safety Campus.Should you have any questions or need further information please feel free to contact me at either [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***Executive Director, Butler Tech Adult Education SEE ATTACHED ORIGINAL PDF RESPONSE

Dear Mr*** ***,My name is Marni D***, Assistant Superintendent at Butler Tech, and was informed that my name was attached to this complaint, however I did not receive any communication from you prior to this complaint. Yes, due to low numbers one week we had to offer some students
different options for camp dates. Due to your family being on vacation, I understand your son was not able to attend on a different date.
