Review: My truck was running fine when I bought it, no smoke, no shaking, or anything like that. I could easily drive 75 miles an hour it ran fine. One morning I discovered water in the oil. I decided to finish the job and then take the truck in to see why there was water in the oil. I took the truck to Butler's Truck and Trailer Repair shop. They told me they had to take the motor apart because it appeared to be a blown head gasket and that they would have to change all the parts in the motor. Three weeks later they called to say that the truck was ready. I paid them $7439.18, taking them at their words I didn't test drive the truck. They told me they stand by their work. I didn't make it a mile from the shop before the truck started shaking, smoking, making noises in the motor and then cutting off completely. I looked under the under the hood and there were leaks in four different places in the motor. I had it towed back to Butler's for $187.50. I tried to contact Butler's and spoke to the owner who said that he would stand by his work, this was the very next day 4/24/5015. The mechanic who specializes in the motor in my truck called me the next day and told me that they may have to take the motor out again and that I may have to cover the expense but he wasn't sure and that I had to talk to the owner. I let him know that I had already paid and I didn't think that it would be right for me to have to pay again. A few days later the owner called and stated that he sticks by his work but if I wanted me to they would take the motor again because it was really his or my fault what happened. I have been trying to contact him since 5/1/2015. I have gotten no return calls even though I was told that he would call me. I went to the office several times and he is never there. I am always told that he will be in and he will call me but so far I have gotten nothing. I even went to the office to wait for him and I was told that he had just left but would be back. I still haven't heard anything.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to repair the motor within two weeks at their cost and if they can't then I would like for them to give me a full refund and my truck back so I can send it somewhere so it can be fixed by a profession.
