Review: I brought an iphone 4 in December 2013. It was listed at brand new. This past week the phone attmepted to automatically update and the phone then shut down. We called an iphone store and it was determined that the phone was infact refurbished, not new. I attmepted to contact the store and was given a reply "sorry, you are passed your 30 day warrentee". The phone is no longer operational and there is nothing the iphone store said the phone is of no use.Desired Settlement: There is no need for a replacement as I have already had to buy a new phone. I would like a refund.

Review: I purchased an i-Phone that was advertized as new. It came in a box, and factory type shrink wrap. It is NOT new. My son took it to the Verizon store to get it activated. The clerk was suspicious due to an aftermarket type screen plastic cover. The clerk queried the computer system and found that it had been activated on the verizon network over a year earlier. He then contacted Apple, and Apple confirmed it was used and it has no warranty. THis was advertized as NEW. They will not provide a new phone. They only say send it back. I want a new phone, I don't want to deal with crooks like this. I don't trust them to provide reimbursement prior to sending me a phone. The phone was delivered via US Mail. I plan on contacting the Postal Inspector about mail fraud also. [redacted]
