Review: The first week in January I called Buy Rite oil and asked for 200 gallons of oil to be delivered. When I finally found the receipt outside the house 3 days later I realized they only delivered 100 gallons but charged my debit card for 200 gallons. My husband stopped buy the business that day and was told they were aware of the mistake. They did give us the other 100 gallons after we confronted them. I found it odd that they already knew about the mistake but didn't call us or rectify the situation for 3 days. The second complaint is about a situation that occurred today. Earlier in the week we called for 300 gallons of oil to be delivered on Friday January [redacted]. They took it upon themselves to deliver the oil one day early and charge my debit card early without authorization. Because the money was not going to be in the account until the [redacted] I over drafted was charged a fee of $30 by my bank. I called Buy Rite about this situation. While they admitted that was their fault and apologized they would not agree to refund me the $30. They said they left a message for me that hey were delivering early. I did not get this message in time and I did not authorize my debit card to be charged early.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed the $30 overdraft fee I was charged due to them charging my debit card early without authorization.

Yesterday I submitted a complaint against Buy Rite Oil in laGrangeville NY. I'm my complaint I was requesting $30 credited to me as a result of the company charging my debit card early without authorization. The company has since changed their mind and agreed to credit this back to me and has been resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Review: I have been getting my oil at Buyrite for several years. I always get 100 gals at a time. They have 2 websites both stating minimum 100 gals. When I called for delivery I was told it was 150 gal min in the winter. I advised the girl at Buyrite that both websites state min 100 gals and that's what I always get from them, even in the winter. She was incredibly rude and told me to shop somewhere else then. "We have delivered oil for a year ( 4 times) not several years as [redacted] had stated. When [redacted] had called to order oil she was informed that our minimum was now 150 gallons instead of the 100 gallons. She became irate and we had said we temporarily suspended it and she could wait to order when we would probably have it back in another month. We have updated our website [redacted] to inform people of the 100 gallon oil delivery suspension.

[redacted] did order the 150 gallons and when the driver went to deliver she did not answer the door and never called to cancel her order.

Review: After being a customer after a number of years, I have experience horrible customer service. Having placed several calls myself to discuss my account with the manager, I have not recieved a call back. Then I recieved a call from office staff stating that they were taking me off of automatic delivery even though my account was paid in full and held a credit. The only reason I can determine for this is without automatic delivery I can be charged a higher price. As a member of NYPIRG I feel as if they didn't make adjustments according to the market.Desired Settlement: There is a credit balance on account, which was confirmed by staff during call. I requested a check be sent to me for the amount on 01/**/2014.

We had [redacted] as a customer for the last few years on an automatic delivery basis. Unfortunately, we have had to

put her account to a will call basis. The reason behind this is that [redacted] has been consistently behind in her budget

payments and has also had issues paying off her budget closeout balance for the last few years.

There were a few times that I fell behind on the budget payments but they were not consistent. As far as the close out balance, there were a few years where I had a credit and carried it over to the following year.
