Buy & Save Furniture

Review: On Saturday, October 24, 2015, went to the Buy and Save Furniture with a family member and the salesperson showed us several chairs and said that he would give me a good deal. I purchased two chairs and when I got the chair to the Church it was discovered on the back of one of chairs it was damaged, covered with some type of putty (the chair was cracked and scratched). I went back to the store a couple days later and explained it to the salesperson, and he stated to bring the chair back and He would take care of it. Chair went back and He stated he would handle it and contact me back, however, I did not receive a call so I went back. He stated at that time, that the chair would be fixed or replace and it would take two weeks and the date given was 11/23/15. He contacted me a few days earlier by phone and I went to pick up the chair on the November 21, 2015. Immediately, I saw there was a problem and began making comments and I noticed a scratch and he then used a marker to cover it, I just could not believe it. I told him that I was not satisfied, however, I will take the chair and let the Pastor see it and he said no problem if you are not satisfied, you will have to bring both back and get your money back. The chair appeared to have been stained so when I took to the Church immediately, it was noticeable two different colors and chair was worse. I went back to the store with a Trustee to discuss the matter and he discovered that the other chair was damaged and we were not aware of it because it was underneath. The chairs were never utilized, however, it became a big issue and they said they would show us other chair but the prices were too high and we requested to be refunded. It was very frustrating and they did not want to provide customer service satisfaction. They refunded only $112.00 back penalizing us 30 percent which was not our responsibility because they sold us damaged goods. I truly believe they were aware of it, and I will not shop at the store every again due to several reasons. I do not find them to be professional as business owners and the way we were treated and the amount of time spent that day was uncalled for when it could have been settled much sooner and it should have been for the full amount. The salesperson told several comments and it was not the truth, unprofessional as a business.

I would like to be refunded for the 30% penalty of $48.00. The total paid for the chairs was $160.00 and I have my receipts and pictures of the damaged chair.
