This concerns the complaint filed today against Buy Cars Inc.  We received our refund check today.

Review: Faulty airbag which was reported, (indicated by a warning light the day of pickup), and supposedly corrected, and I was told it was just a wire - the drivers side airbag is defective and needs to be replaced Check Engine Light was on at the time of test drive and was supposedly a minor issue that was corrected - check engine light returned to on several times since then - was told by my mechanic that it was a faulty oxygen sensor and the vehicle should not have passed inspection legally. Tire Pressure Sensor in front left tire was removed and light remains on - dealer says that because I got a good price I should not expect them to correct this, even though I'd asked Parking Break Light does not engage when parking break is physically engaged - another safety issue.Desired Settlement: I expect all of these repairs to be made at no cost to me, as most of them are safety issues, in which the dealer has sold me a vehicle which may not have only been illegally passed through inspection, but also a risk to the operator, if the airbag does not deploy in the event of an accident.

Review: On January **, 2013, I put down a $100 deposit to purchase a 2005 Cadillac. The dealer promised to fix the problems with the car which he believed to be minor issues. It turned out to be a major electrical problem so I decided not to go through with the sale. The dealer said that he will return the deposit by mail. I have contacted the dealership many times and have been told on each occassion that the check is being or has been mailed out. To date, the $100 deposit has not been returnedDesired Settlement: The $100 deposit should be returned in its entirety.
