We have resolved the issue with this customerI got back to her myself, investigated the issue, apologized for the lack of communication, wrote her a check for the full quoted buyback and extra compensation, and to the best of our knowledge the issue has been resolved satisfactorily

Mr*** placed an order on July 26, via *** * ***'s marketplaceThe order was passed to us through ***.com, as is common for booksellers selling on *** * ***His order was fulfilled and shipped the next day July 27, There were no special requests for this order.On
September 25, at 05:48pm CDT we received our first record of contact from Mr*** - via email - to our help deskIn this message he inquired "Where's my refund?" He demanded that we contact him immediately "before I lose patience and trash you online and to ***."As our auto-response states, we answer all messages in the order in which they're receivedThe 25th of September was a MondayMondays are always the busiest days as we catch up from the weekend.The next message we received from Mr*** was on September 27, at 06:28pm CSTIt simply stated, "Better Hurry." It's important to note that we have a day return policyTracking shows the book was delivered on August 1, at 11:35pm CDTThat means it had been days since the book was delivered until our first contact with Mr***Also, we did not receive a return from Mr***.Mr*** never mentioned in his messages to us that the order was incorrectAs it had taken us longer than we'd like to respond to his message and he was clearly unhappy, we decided to refund him as a gesture of good will, despite the request being days past our return policyHowever, due to marketplace policy, orders older than days cannot be refundedThat being the case, we emailed *** on Mr***'s behalf and requested that they make a special exception and issue a refund anywayAt that point, there was nothing further we were able to do other than to notify Mr*** of the goodwill refund and apologize for the delay, which we did on September 29, at 10:29am CDT.After this point, we received a series of derogatory and offensive emails from Mr***We chose not to reply in an attempt to avoid any further issue with the customer due to the level of libel and harassmentOn September 30th, at 06:23pm CST he said, "don't care about money, my goal is to trash you." On the same day but at 06:34pm he wrote, "I understand you are working out of your bedroom or basement..but if you choose to be in business you should act like a business personGet it together dbag." Again on the same day but at 06:56pm CST he wrote, "I'm going to make this issue my new pastime."We have confirmed with *** that the refund was issued in full.We regret that we weren't able to please this customer - we certainly tried
