Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The response by Tropical Tan is for several reasons- 1- Yes, I signed a contract for ME and paid as per the agreement until December when I shut it down both in person- my wife did so at Edmonds location in person and I made sure via phone callTropical Tan continued to charge me monthly until MarchTheir offer to pay me back one month of payments is not acceptableI have NEVER asked that I be repaid for my agreed to contract which would be three months- September thru NovemberHowever, even though the contract was shut down and the folks at Edmonds location stated that it was Tropical Tan continued to take money from our checking account month after monthWhen I asked to speak to the owners I was given no info in any way to contact for further help or support I filled out paper work for my wife at the same time I did my contractThe young woman who signed me up said that I should fill it out since I had to wait another ten minutes or so to get in to the tanning bed and that my wife's account would not be activated until she came in the first time and the "clock" would start thenThat is not what happened, they started charging immediately and my wife was told by staff that, "Sorry, that woman did that to a to a lot of customers so she could collect her ten dollar commission." We asked for the owners name and phone number and that was refused After both accounts were supposedly closed in December at Edmonds location Tropical Tan continued to charge us for months afterwardsAfter being told that our accounts were closed the last time we were finally told that we should "Print up our bank account statement as proof of being charged and drive to Lynnwood to prove that we were actually being chargedI refused to drive there and they gave me a phone number to call and talk for helpI talked with a woman named Toni who stated that she would give me one month payment back after she discovered that YES, the account was closed on the page employees see but not on one page that she could see This company seems to thrive on bait and switch, makes it nearly impossible to resolve any issues and when they agreed they were in the wrong still refused to pay us back the monies taken fraudulently from our account Sincerely, [redacted]

Customer did not follow the instructions of the attendantInsisting on maximum settings for the body wrap systemNow customer is not telling the truth about the circumstances and insisting on being refunded after using the service multiple timesIt is clearly stated in the signed contract that
there is a day notice for canceling a membership account (Memberships are given a lower price) Her account has been terminated with services ending next monthAfter speaking with our client services, emailing with an owner and leaving nasty reviews on yelp, face book....we were happy to terminate our relationship with this unreasonable clientWe get one of these every now and againThank you for the message

Unfortunately we upgraded all of our Sunless/Spray-tan units since this customers purchaseThey are much better and brand new, and are much more expensive to operateOur offers, much like a Groupon have an expiration dateIt states on the offer that its use must be exercised within a certain
amount of timeMy representatives offered some credit towards our current services and the customer declinedThe customer is being unreasonable and is simply upsetIf I bought a gift certificate for a spa , waited a year, and then tried to convert it to a cash refund...well you can see where I'm going with thisI regret we are unable to help this customer

There is a signed contract from both husband and wifeIt details the cancellation processThe process to cancel was not followed by the customers, and some charges were accruedThe customer feels that they don't need to pay these chargesIn order to receive a better price, the customer agrees to
stay a member for a certain amount of time and pay a certain amountTropical Tan member services has tried to resolve this issue amicably many times and will continue to attempt to resolve this issueThis customer is trying to get their way by being unpleasantMost customers that pay for a health club, net flix, cell phone, or internet service understand how monthly billing works

first I'm hearing of this matter, and I receive all emails through our web siteI will contact member services and find out what the problem isUnless the customer is avoiding us it should be simple to resolve
