Bought a refrigerator 9/22/16. Was promised a $50 rebate. Received a $50 debit card from "*** Turns out there is an expiration date on the card which neither Buzaid nor *** mentioned in any of the paperwork given me. So I wasn't on guard and didn't examine the card closely enough when it came (probably came in January 2017). Your life busy, too? OK, now I find the card hase expred on 5/17. Note this date located where the expiration date of a credit card usually located. It is designed to be silent. Find language on back of the card telling me it could be reissued for a $7.50 fee after the expiration date. Call *** who explain the is a limited time for that option and that info not on the card but in a letter that came with the card. Reviewed that letter and see no reference to a grace period. So, you see the trend here? A deceptive business practice to offer rebates on which 50% of the people lose the rebate and the win probably shared by the merchant and the debit card company. I won't do business with Buzaid again unless they make good on this and I want to warn you that the offer of a rebate many are unlikely to be able to claim to sell their goods is clearly a deceptive business practice.
