We have refunded the client the amount requested and have resolved the issue as of today

The Customer has contacted the Manufacturer and we have also provided the Manufacturer with all the necessary information to review and address this Customer's concern. We have provided the customer with a Loan car, at no expense, while awaiting the
Manufacturers response. We will continue to communicate with the Manufacturer to expedite a solution

We apologize for the incorrect information about the Loan vehicle. When we responded we were not aware that he was not in a Loan car and our Service Director misunderstood the communication from Mercedes-Benz USA. This is under Mercedes-Benz USA review and we are also awaiting their responseThere was no intent to make a claim

"The dealership is making a false claim that they have provided me with a loaner vehicle. Since Nov. 20th, 2016, my car has been in the possession of MB Escondido dealership and they have NOT, I repeat, NOT provided me with a loaner vehicle. I am using my second car as a means of transportation since Nov. 22nd till today, January 2, 2017. Also, I have been paying my monthly lease, on a car that I currently do not have and am not able to use for the purpose that I bought it for. The dealership has made a blatantly false claim here and to prove it, I am attaching herewith, an excerpt from an email exchange I have had with MB corporate, with regards to a loaner car situation. Please note in this excerpt, that it clearly states that a loaner car will NOT be provided if the dealership claims they have fixed the problem, so in other words, they want me to pick up a car with a faulty transmission, claiming they have fixed it and not assuring me in any way of what the problem was, and why it happened, and that it won't happen again. As I indicated in my initial complaint to Revdex.com, Bruce, from the service department at MB Escondido had rudely informed me that "you can pick up your car, it's fixed now, then you can go ahead and file and complaint or whatever"...I can not believe MB Escondido would lie about loaning a car when they have not done so. I challenge MB Escondido to prove what car they have loaned me by providing some paperwork that shows the make, model, VIN of the car that was loaned and my signature that I have picked it up. This is an ABSOLUTELY FALSE claim by the dealership. I am going to use this false claim made by the dealer to expose their lying and deceiving ways of convincing the Revdex.com that they have tried to make an effort to help out a customer when in reality, that is absolutely false and a lie. Here is the excerpt from the email I have received from MB corporate when I was trying to get some answers about the same issue, several weeks ago: "Dear Dr. [redacted], Loaner vehicles are managed and/or owned by each dealership individually and as such, they would be in the best position to speak to availability while a vehicle is having service performed.  If Mercedes-Benz of Escondido has advised that they have completed service on your vehicle, a loaner would not be available.As previously advised, Mercedes-Benz USA is presently reviewing your request to repurchase your 2016 CLA250 4MATIC."- [redacted], Executive from MB corporate."

Dear [redacted]:In response to the complaint we received, ID [redacted] concerning [redacted] E550. Just to clear up a few things mentioned. The first communication she had was with the Mercedes-Benz USA national Roadside Assistance center. They assisted her with the towing arrangements...

and had the vehicle towed to a collision center. Mercedes-Benz guidelines instruct the tow companies to tow a vehicle to a collision center whenever there is accident damage. The vehicle was towed to Caliber Collision in Escondido, they are Mercedes-Benz certified but independent from our Dealership. Our Service Manager was the person she spoke with when she called and he determined that the vehicle went to the collision center and not our Dealership. She was requesting a loan car from us but unfortunately he had to inform her that we do not provide a loan car for collision damage. We advise customers to contact their insurance company for alternate transportation during the collision repair due to the time involved for repair and insurance company processes.Any concerns or comments she has about the MBUSA program can be directed to the MBUSA customer assistance center at [redacted]if you have any questions or need any additional information please contact me directly.[redacted]
