Hello, Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to the complaint from Mrs [redacted] We are sorry to hear that she is not satisfied with our company Attached you will find a copy of their vacate report and a copy of the emails that went back and forth from our office and Mrs [redacted] She states in the email that she received the vacate report and questioned the charges, which we explained, also via email This was done at the end of September We waited an additional days for payment before turning it over to the collection agency which we did on 12-22- We do not add additional charges, those charges are what the collection agency charges.As a side note, we did get an estimate to have the damaged wallpaper removed, wall repairs done and new wallpaper installed and that estimate was for MORE than what the beadboard repair cost to do, so we opted to go the less expensive route to save the tenant the additional expense We try to do everything in a fair manner and get the property back to the condition it was in prior to the damage at a reasonable rate.Please let us know if we can be of further assistance Thank you, [redacted]

Also, no attempt was made on their part to contact us and give us a chance before turning us over to collectionsAs I stated, we were waiting on my husbands BAH back pay to come in (We are still waiting).? However, had we known that they were going to send us to collections and damage our credit we would have chosen to charge it to a credit cardWe'd rather pay the interest on our card than have our excellent credit ratings ruined.? We have rented from multiple companies in multiple states and have never had a company nickel and dime us the way this one didI've also never seen a company send someone to collections without trying to give them one last opportunity to pay.? At this point I am ready to be done with this companyWe just want to pay, no matter how unjustified we find some of the charges, but we want to pay the correct amount due to the original company, not an outrageously upcharged amount to a collection agencyWe do not want this unjustly reflected on our credit report.?
