Studs in shed are bowed outwardI bought a shed from them in Feb of 2015. I caulked inside the shed for moisture rding and such. After about a month in April I noticed 2 of the studs were bowing out resulting in not being attached to the wallboards. I called Byrds on at least2 occasions, once speaking with the owner who took my address and number and said he would come by. 2 weeks later nothing. I went to the location, took pictures and showed them to his daughter who runs the office and orders. She looked at my invoice noted I said mornings were better for me to have someone come by and said they were backed up due to rain. This was 2 weeks ago and still nothing. Meanwhile the doors will not close flush due to swelling of the wood, which obviously was moist when this thing was built and header joists are coming loose.Desired SettlementRepair or replace. At least some contact to say drop dead or something. There has been no attempt on Byrds to address this at all and I have been patient and professional with them.Business contacted me on Memorial day and sent a team to address and make the requested repairs. This matter has been resolved.

I had a 12X10 wooden storage shed built on site by this company in August 2013. In July of 2014 part of the roof has caved in and sank causing the water to be trapped under the shingles. Since this was under the one year warrantee I contacted Mr. Byrd of Byrd's Wholesale to inspect the damage. It took several follow up phone calls to get someone to come out but Mr. Byrd finally showed up on Sept 3. He inspected the damage and made the comment that after careful inspection that he was not going to "dodge this bullet" and would arrange to have someone out to make the repair which he indicated would not take very long to do. No one showed up for several weeks and I continued to call. I was advised by Mr. Byrd that this was too small a job to make a special trip to North Raleigh since his business was in Clayton. I advised understood this but expected the repair to made in a reasonable amount of time. After several further phone calls and no action I sent Mr. Byrd a letter on Dec 29 informing him of my dissatisfaction on the service and expected the repair to be made in the next 30 days. I have contacted him today Jan 21, 2015 with an update of the expected return. He responded very rudely and advised it was not worth his time to come this far for a small repair. He said I should repair this myself. I advised him that I did think this was possibility and asked him if he had any intention of honoring his warrantee and fixing the roof. His response was no. If this is not fixed I will more serious water damage because of this.
