That is not accurate. I clearly stated all the facts before my offer was made. They then accepted the offer. I never once refused to pay the correct amount of tax; I stated all the facts clearly to the sales rep, he haf all the information in front of him. They accepted my offer then refused to honor it because of a mistake, THEY made. I have a 3rd party witness who was with me which can attest to all of this in its entirety.  Revdex.com:

Based on the facts presented in our previous response, we did not have a valid offer to purchase because the offer as presented was based on the customer using a trade in as a credit against the sales tax.  Once we determined the "trade-in" was a lease vehicle and not eligible to be used as credit against sales tax, the offer was not a legal offer.  We are required to collect and remit sales tax in accordance with State laws.  We were willing to accept the price offered by the customer, but we had to reject the offer because the customer was not willing to pay the correct amount of motor vehicle sales tax as required by law.
