I bought a external harddrive
I bought Bytech 80 gb external hard drive from five below. And it was just a waste of money. The hard drive in it is a Fujitsu hard drive from 2006. The reason I know is it was easy to open up an see. Never buying nothing from them again. They are not even worth me giving them a rating. But since I have to they get minus 1.

Review: I have had a claim open with them since February of 2013 I have met every request that was ask of me and now that it time for them to complete this claim which is me being reimburse 199.99 plus taxI have been give the run around and lied to on several occasions I have been on hold for over 2 hours 11/**/2013 and other days they also have had me on hold for hours. They are telling me they are reimbursing any every time I call back they are advising me of later dates as to when they are sending the check.Desired Settlement: I would like them to reimburse me for the phone that was damaged and cost of the case.

Review: I purchased a car charger for my external battery phone cover from Five Below in Mansfield, MA. Immediately after I went into my car to charge my external battery case and the product began to smoke while inside it and stopped working, breaking my external battery case. Now I cannot use the $30 external battery case I had one my phone as it no longer works. Five Below contacted Bytech, wanting them to resolve the issue. They were sent the charger and I payed for my case to by shipped out to Bytech. Bytech claim it was my fault for not reading instructions, but I've purchased this charger in the past with the same voltage using it on my external battery case and have never had an issue. The real issue here is that THEIR products do NOT have packaging concealing the part of the charger that goes into whatever it's charging. Therefore, the product can be tampered with before it;s even purchased. This issue is a result of Bytech, not myself. It's bad customer service for a company to blame the customer when it's clearly their fault for not packaging their product. It could have been an extremely dangerous situation if I hadn't noticed the smoke sooner. They need to fix this issue before someone gets hurt. I don't at all blame the person named [redacted] at customer service that I spoke with on the phone. I have a problem with her boss who told her what to say and decided to distastefully blame myself rather than admitting that her poorly made and packaged product ruined my expensive case.Desired Settlement: It would be greatly appreciated if they could replace the one they broke. I'd like the same one they ruined or a brand name that is similar.
