Revdex.com spoke to [redacted] ?at the business and the following was resolved: A check was sent to the customer and we consider the matter resolved

*** ***'s vehicle was brought to our shop on 2/4/for an appointment scheduled for 2/5/for a brake line repairWe were asked to repair a blown brake line and to check a second one if neededThe vehicle was brought into the shop on 2/6/after a lift was freed upThe brake line from the
abs module to the rear axle was blown and needed replacementThe brake line was seized into the abs moduleThe line was sprayed and heated in an attempt to save the moduleAfter several attempts the line came out of the moduleWhile truck was on lift, it was noticed that all other brake lines with the exception of rear axle cross over lines needed replacementAlso noticed, was the gas tank straps were broken due to rustA call was made to *** *** on or about 2/9/advising of added brake lines that needed replacementAlso at that time, *** was advised on the gas tank strapsA verbal estimate of $500-$was given at that time*** authorized the repairs at that timeHe was then advised that we were unsure how soon those added repairs would be done, but we would do our best to get them done as soon as possibleTruck was brought back into shop on 2/12/to complete all necessary repairs Upon removing remaining brake lines from anti-lock brake (abs) module, one steel fitting stripped out the aluminum threads in the abs moduleThis was due to rust and corrosionA new abs module was needed to finish repairsAdvised customerRepairs were authorized with additional cost of approx$for moduleModule was orderedBrake lines were replaced, gas tank straps were replaced and vehicle was removed from shop on or about 2/13/awaiting partsModule was delivered on 2/16/pmModule was installed on 2/18/15, brake lines were bled out free of air, and vehicle was complete on 2/19/The replacement brake module cost was $but was given to customer at previously quoted price even though the price was an estimated quote due to evening hours and unable to check with parts supplier for actual priceIn addition, all additional labor involved in trying to get out seized brake lines and replacement of abs module was not added to customer invoice. We do acknowledge that this job did take an extended amount of time to repair, but this was due to additional repairs needing to be done to this vehicle and trying to work this additional repair work into previously scheduled jobs along with parts not being readily availableWe felt that keeping the labor cost down and absorbing the additional expense in the cost of the abs module was considerable compensation for the amount of time it took to get vehicle completed
