Review: B & Z Builders did shoddy work on our roof and fireplace and then skipped town. Details are below.Dear [redacted],Just over a year ago you did some repeated work on our fireplace at [redacted] in San Diego to repair cracks in the outside wall of the chimney that was allowing water to enter the fireplace as well as redoing the plaster and repainting of the fireplace.The repair work you did on the exterior of the chimney was not satisfactory, as water has continued to intrude into the chimney area, causing the plaster on the fireplace to bubble and peel away.Needless to say, this is highly disappointing. We do not feel confident in your ability to fix the problem yet again, so we have hired another company to take care of the leaks on the exterior of the chimney.However, the interior fireplace still needs to have the wet plaster removed, redone and repainted. Please let me know if you will plan on doing the demolition and repair on our fireplace at no charge to us, or if you will refund the monies we paid to you to solve the problem, which clearly, was not resolved.Desired Settlement: $1050 refund for slipshod work and continued problems.
