Review: When I planned on registering for their big data tech con conference, I already passed their refund deadline (Sep **) and I knew I might not be able to attend it due to work schedule. I expressed my concern over the phone with them telling them that if I couldn't get partial refund, I just wouldn't register at all. Fearing that I won't register at all, one of their sales person told me that since they already booked everything after Sep **, adding another late registration won't cost them additionally and if I need to cancel before the conference, they would partially refund me. So I registered on Oct [redacted]. As my work schedule didn't allow me to attend, I contacted them to cancel my registration before the conference began. Now they said no, and deny any sales speed they made in the past.Desired Settlement: I paid $1095 for it, I ask for a partial refund of $1095-$150(fee)=$945.

After the conference, they contacted me saying that they couldn't find the record indicating that I attended. They said if I just say yes, they would give me the certificate. I said no. Another registration is another registration. I am asking for the partial refund of registration [redacted].
