I am sorry that our marketing team has annoyed you. I can assure you that storm did take place and I would encourage you to have someone if not us check out your home. Again I never want anyone to feel harassed. I will certainly forward your request personally to that department and speak with group to make sure they don't bother you again. I will also forward a no soliciting sign to so that not only our company but every company working in you neighborhood will hopefully respect your desire to not be bothered. call me at [redacted] or my cell [redacted]. I would be happy to address your outstanding work. Please give me a call so we can scheduled and get your job closed out.  Thanks againBrian J. N[redacted]General Manager

I am so sorry this has been an unpleasant experience for [redacted]. After doing an exhaustive review of his complaint and contacting the previous owner who was the individual we contracted with for the residence at [redacted] Oakhill/herdon V.A. we are happy to clear up any...

misunderstandings about the residual warranties and or repairs. Mid Atlantic Construction of Va was contracted for the replacement of a 4800 sq ft roof due to hail damage  that occurred on 5-14-2010. This contract was for the shingle portion of the roof alone excluding the widows walk. Our work at the time carried a ten year non-transferable warranty on labor and a thirty year one time transferable warranty on shingle materials provided by the manufacturer ([redacted]).We were contacted on July 14, 2015 at 1:45 Pm by [redacted] via email about transferring the warranty the new homeowner we agreed to do a courtesy transfer of a two year warranty to the new homeowner out of appreciation to our client. When we pulled the agreement to do the transfer, [redacted] was reminded on July 15, 2015 at 11:45 am that we were not contracted for the widows walk at the peak of the roof. [redacted] acknowledged this fact in an email included in this response. [redacted] was given a detailed instruction list on how to transfer her material warranty and we happily transferred the two year labor warranty. Mr Damu Kothandan asked us to come out on a warranty matter stating he had a leak. We responded promptly went out to the property identified the leak as tear in the widows walk where the brackets that attached the railing to the flat portion of the rubber roof were leaking we did $600.00 patch repair for the client for which we did not bill him for and informed him that eventually he would need to replace the rubber roof. He was unhappy with the fact that we would not replace the rubber roof that we did not do for [redacted] and [redacted] on 3-9-2011. In response we offered him a large discount on the price to replace the rubber roof at that point he indicated he would get back to us. [redacted] was present and saw the sources of the leaks but yet he persisted on that it should be replaced by us at no cost . He insisted that we release our clients insurance info as well as other documents. We told [redacted] that we need permission from our client to release that info, seeing as it contained information that also related to [redacted] banking information. We are more than happy to meet with [redacted] to resolve any of these issues and hopefully repair the rocky start to this relationship. I did contact [redacted] she did authorize me to release the original contract, emails between us and her, and  a letter she wrote to respond to this situation, but she did not authorize her insurance paperwork to be released, seeing as it has personal information on it. We are happy to send out another team to inspect for any further failures of the roof and inspect the entire roof again at no cost. We are also open to sitting down with [redacted]  and trying to find a resolution for him. We hope this documentation helps clear up any confusion on what Mid Atlantic Construction of VA was contracted for and gives [redacted] the answers he was looking for.

I and everyone in the company is so disheartened when a customer reaches a frustration level high enough to make a complaint. So I would like to start off with an apology that this situation even had an opportunity to reach this point. I am happy that after your conversations with Jane that at this...

point all the outstanding issues have been resolved minus the the minor scratches on your car, that you will taking in at your earliest convenience. There will never be an excuse for rude behaviour. That issue has been addressed. As far as working till 9pm in the event there is a threat of severe weather the following we will work as long as possible to finish and dry in the roof. I do understand how aggravating that can can with toddlers seeing as I have a 7,5,and 2 year old and the repercussions and challenges that brings the following day the following. She should have been more fully informed and communication should have been better. In respect to your lights builder lights are typically around 15 to 30 dollars our budget for a hundred dollars is more than generous for so many our clients I apologize that we didn't ask better questions so we could have handled that situation better and got you the more expensive lights you had on your home. I spoke with installations about the fact the siding crew didnt show up the consecutive day and the reason that I was given was there was a threat of severe weather and it would have been dangerous to put them on the scaffolding with that threat of rain and lightning. I was informed that your home was dried in and not at risk for any more damages. None of those answers though is an excuse for poor communication or rude behaviour. They should have most certainly called you the primary point of contact not your husband if you had been handling the project. You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. For that lack of that humbly ask for your forgiveness and we truly appreciate opportunity to correct the situation.
