*** came down and was going to take the car back, while we were getting it ready for her to leave it was decided that she wanted to put the car back with original factory style parts instead of the body kit that we were going to doIt has
taken some time to get the parts in, I informed her that we finally got the last piece in and it would be ready for her in just a couple days

We ran into unforeseen rust on this car....

Because the rust was so extensive he ended up bringing me a donor car that we had to cut the complete back off one car and put on another. All of which was not on the original bid. He agreed upon and authorized the work. We also had to remove the body from the frame so he could take the frame to his house and paint it, which we did. All of which was not included in the original bid. We discussed that the underside of the body needed to be sandblasted in order to search for any more unforeseen rust. So that we could get a quality job on the car. He said that he would take care of it. He came to my shop with is sandblaster, had us move the car to the back so he could blast. He tried for 2 or 3 days but his blaster wasn't big enough to remove the undercoating. He decided to have the car blasted by a professional sandblaster. He wanted me to take it down to the guy he found but would not agree to pay me to haul it. He has not brought any money to pay for the sandblasting. So we have not and will not. He is already way over the original bid. His bill is way over the $1800 he has paid. I have advised him that no further work will be done until he gets the body sandblasted and makes arrangement's and pays some on his bill. He says he is not paying any more money so we will not go any further. I have asked him to come to my office so we can discuss this and he refuses to do so.

Let's start off saying that Mrs. [redacted] is a complete bald faced liar. She seems to think that she can scam money from the insurance company. We don't owe her a dime. The money that was paid to me by the insurance company was for the repairs to...

be done to the vehicle. Not to be returned to her, returning money to her would be fraud. She dropped this vehicle into my shop without an appointment. The oil pan was removed, the leak repaired which was paid for by the insurance company. The oil was changed at that time. I have receipts to prove that. My mechanic had not had time to reset the computer in the car that indicates oil change. (by the way, the oil change in question, neither her nor the ins. co. has been billed for the oil change). The windshield was a special order and has been sitting in my office for over a week. She has been asked repeatedly by myself and as records will indicate was also instructed by the insurance company to return the vehicle to have repairs completed. She has failed to do so. She was very abusive to my employees at the shop as well as my car lot location, which has nothing to do with my body shop. For her to say that she has been told not to return to the property, she is a liar.
She was given a $500 appearance allowance from the ins. co. which prevented her from having to pay the $500 deductible. She seems to under the impression that I am to return $500 to her. That has been explained to her by myself and the insurance adjustor, [redacted] That this is not how this works. And by the way, I am not the first company that she has tried this scam on. She previously had a check made payable to [redacted] Collision Center in Farmington, MO . They refused to give her money back so she had the insurance company cancel that check and make it out to herself and us. They told her the same thing that I have been telling her. Auto body shops are not in the business to cash checks and give money to customers. We are in business to do the work that we are paid to do. I was not aware of this at the time, apparently when they refused to do it that is when she brought it to me. If she needs money, she might try getting a job not try to scam her insurance co. She had also asked us to repair a taillight instead of the front bumper that the ins. co was paying for. As well as her having [redacted] come out and try to repair the windshield instead of replacing it. Mrs. [redacted] called [redacted] and had them coming without talking to me about it. They came and informed her that they were not able to repair it. She wanted us to give her any money balance if [redacted] could have repaired it. We are only allowed to repair what is on the estimate. To repair the windshield instead replacing it would be fraud. The windshield is in my office waiting for her. She was instructed on Wed the 25th to return her vehicle on Monday as we would be closed for the holiday until then. She has been asked several times since then and still refuses.
I am attaching some documents that will show my truth.
1. copy of the supplement from the insurance company
2.Email I sent to the insurance adjustor [redacted] concerning this same matter
3. copy of the payment summary
4. Email from [redacted] to me, insurance company notes regarding this matter and claim.
5. [redacted] receipt for the oil filter

The vehicle that we are talking about is a 1957 Chevy. The vehicle is almost 60 years old. This is not a newer vehicle with just a couple years of rust.

Since the filing of this we have spoke with Mr. [redacted] and gotten things taken care of. The day that Mr. [redacted] came to pick up the truck there had been work done to the truck. He signed saying that he received all the parts to his truck. It was...

after he left that he said there were other parts that he did not find. We spoke with him about those parts and he said that he was getting them himself. So we did not continue to look for them. When he left that day with the truck he said he had all the parts. I was under the impression that he had checked that he had. I have the signed paper that I can send in to show that he agreed that all parts were returned. I believe that this matter has been handled.
Final Business Response /* (1000, 35, 2015/11/06) */
we tried several different ways to let Mr. [redacted] know that his refund is here and he can come and get it if he wants. He has not answered us. We have also requested that he remove the bed that we released to him the day he decided to pick his truck up after we worked on it.
Thank you,
[redacted]

Also let me check and show me the phone numbers This is the earliest text I have
And the latest text I have
And I have all the text of the men between
He never discussed more cost on anything i'm sure I can go to my phone company and get the phone records of all the times I've called them and the Little bit of times he called me back

And anytime we met in person I've always had someone around with me
Also have a phone number for a sandblaster that I talk to try to set something up that [redacted] was supposed to call
