As you can see in the picture They put wind blocking squares with screws through the screw plugs.Why should I look at screws? I am still waiting for them to put in the missing weather strippingI've called them a couple of times already but keep getting "waiting on the manufacturer "It's getting coldTo bad they don't care about their customers once they get paid Regards, [redacted]

I forwarded the email with the window information to the factoryApparently, it’s a different company that we still use.I asked them to put a rush on it and once it comes in we will install it at n/c for her inconvenience.Thank you and I hope you have a great holiday season!*** ***

Mrs*** ordered and rec’d vinyl windows and a vinyl sliding door with mini blindsThe door she rec’d was what was ordered, delivered and installed. After the installation Mrs*** called stating she was getting a draft and saw daylightAn installer was sent over to her home and they
saw the draft plugs were not put on the door during installationThe installer came to the shop, got the draft plugs, and then went back to install them the next day (I believe it was). After they were installed Mrs*** then called stating she didn’t like the look of the door with the plugs on themShe was told that is how the door is manufacturedWe sent the foreman out to make sure everything was installed properly…and it was. After more complaints about not liking the way the door looks and thinking it wasn’t correct, we sent out the manufacturer Regional Sales Manager, ***He checked the door and reported back that it was made, installed and working properlyHe told her that the weatherstripping on the door was a little short on purpose for expansion and contraction but could replace it with a longer piece but, Mrs*** declined. I forwarded her photos of a new door that came in to the shop showing that is the door and how they all lookShe then wanted the weatherstrippingIt has been sent to the manufacturer for service and will be contacted by a *** *** & Door representative. Since I usually trust businesses to sell great products and I look at the brochures they bring, I did not think it was necessary to go to the showroomI looked at many sliders in showrooms and never saw screws and breeze blockers on themI will stop into their showroom and check thoughIt's very unfortunate that the business (Precision Door and Window of Stoughton) that sold me the door doesn't supply and install the missing weatherstripping and plugs WITHOUT screws to make the door look nice, instead of depending on the manufacturer who obviously is to busy with other complaints and can't fix my slider in a proper time frame (almost months so far)I want what I paid for, which is a slider that looks nice with no air blowing in and no ugly screwsIs that to much to ask for?Regards,

Unfortunately, we do not make the doors and have no control over how they’re made or what they look likeThe door that was ordered was what Mrs*** ordered and how the doors are madeThe draft plugs are installed to block any daylight/air from coming in and they do need to be screwed onto door…that is how they are made. The weatherstripping will be replaced with a longer piece and Mrs*** will be receiving a call from the factory to set up an appointment with the manufacturers service departmentThey, like everyone else, have a schedule and need to stick to the order in which calls come in. Mrs*** could have come to our showroom to see a door prior to ordering the door she chose but, did not.We care about every customer and want everyone to be happyWe have been working with Mrs*** but cannot fix something that is not wrong.
