I am sorry we had to wait to the last day to respond to this, the Consumer Relations department at [redacted] Tire has been closed last week. I talked to Doug as [redacted] Tire this morning about his response to Mr. [redacted] about a 70% adjustment on the tires stated in the complaint. He stated he did a...

mileage calculator based on the information Mr. [redacted] gave him, but at no time did he give a adjustment concession. Doug stated that he couldn't see the condition of the tire so he was going off the information the customer gave him. I am attaching Max Harvey's statement of what occurred during Mrs. [redacted]s visit to our store. I do take exception to Mr. [redacted]'s statement that when a repair shop she's a women coming that stick it to her, approximately 50% of our consumers today are women, they are very well educated when it comes to the needs of there vehicles today, our staff has went through extensive training on dealing with women in the marketplace because we realize how valuable their business is in today's market. The tires in question had shoulder wear, this is caused by either alignment or poor rotation. We checked the vehicle and found the vehicle to be in alignment, there were no rotation records. If you do not rotate tires you will normally wear three sets out on the front before you wear a set out on the rear, in 2013 the [redacted]s only purchased two tires installed on the front, this is the same position the tires were on when they came back to our shop. Mrs. [redacted] only asked for a good deal on tires when she came in, she stated she was unhappy with the wear. Our company policy is that if a customer feels the product we sold them did not meet their expectations, we sell them the next set a cost if their is not a manufacturers warranty that is applicable. In this case the tires had shoulder wear and there were no rotation records. This voids the warranty. We did everything that we could do, we checked the alignment, we sold Mrs. [redacted] tires at cost plus mounting and Mrs. [redacted] even posted on Facebook how happy she was with the deal she received.  I am willing to send the [redacted]'s a check for $76.56 this is the entire amount of gross profit we made on two sets of tires, including labor, if this is acceptable. I feel this is the best we can do to resolve this issue.Statement from Max H[redacted]:Mrs. [redacted] contacted my mother on Facebook looking for a deal on some tires never was a warranty mentioned. She came in the store on Saturday and asked for me and said she was unhappy with wear. After speaking with Mrs. [redacted] I pulled the car in the shop and looked at tires and saw they had shoulder wear. I advised Mrs. [redacted] it was either it was either out of alignment or lack of rotation. I cut the price back on tires and told her we would check alignment for free. After installing two more new tires on from we checked alignment at no charge and it was not out. She then sends response on Facebook she was happy with the deal she got. Later, I get a call from Mr. [redacted] that I stuck one in his wife. He said he knows how garages treat women. I advised him he was wrong. He said he contacted [redacted] and he was owed 72% adjustment on a tire that had not been rotated since we had put them on. I advised Mr. [redacted] he needed to provide proof of rotation. He said I rotate my own tires. After my years of experience that was a false statement. He advised me he could buy same tires on Amazon for a dollar cheaper. I told him they don’t mount tires and we mounted them for free. Mr. [redacted] was curious of his old tires. I told him they were at WV Tire Disposal that we have them picked up once a week. If he would have let me know I could have sent them back with his wife. His last statement he would contact the Revdex.com and next time he could come in himself. Thank youCharlie Toney C. Our General Manager [redacted] spoke to [redacted]r about our oil change policy. We charge a fixed price on oil changes up to 6 quarts of oil, in return we do not sell the oil at the manufactuers suggested retail price. We package the price to make it affordable. Our standard oil change starts...

at 31.95 and our synthetic oil change starts at 57.45. If you check the area you will find that this is a very competitive price. While I feel our salesperson did a very poor job of explaining this to [redacted]e are refunding [redacted]r for 1 quart of oil 7.25 and .43 sales tax and we are sending [redacted]r a $25 [redacted] card that he can use in our shop at his convenience on his next purchase. I spoke with our store manager [redacted] we always have a reader board showing our prices posted behind the sales counter, but [redacted] had taken it down to adjust some price changes that we had spoken about. The reader board must have been down when [redacted]r came into the store.  Thank you[redacted]C. Adam Toney Tire Pros
