This company is very untrustworthyThey were quick to have me sign a contract for replacing my roof and take the down payment, which was on July 1, At that time, I was told it would be approximately weeks to get the shinglesI never heard back from them, so I eventually called them in mid AugustThey came up with excuses but assured me it would be complete before the fall seasonI placed another call in September and again mid OctoberWhen I spoke to them in October, they said they would do the job that coming weekendThat weekend and the following weekend came and went with no work completed and no phone callFinally, I called the 2nd week in November and told them to cancel the contract and to return my down payment, which they agreed to doBy the beginning of December, I still hadn't received my down payment, so I sent them a detailed email, explaining I expected the return of my down payment by the end of the year, or I'd need to start other actionsI also sent additional reminder emails before the end of the yearAs of today, I still haven't received my down payment!

I will make this letter on 8/25/ *** *** said he wanted deposit back It was in then that dayDay before check for not Their check was for Check no ***Hope they get a good Very nice people By the way *** is not this

Just wanted to let someone know that the issue regarding this complaint HAS been resolved!
They have completed the job, but only after we threatened further action
I think it would be wise to still investigate this company because it has come to our attention that they are operating illegally

Review: We hired C & C Contractors in May 2014 to complete a roofing job on our home. We made the mistake of paying in full, with a signed contract, but they do not come out to the house to do the job unless we constantly call them to inquire where they are. Then when they do come out, all they do is complain about the job. They don't even work a full day, then tell us they will be back the next day, and we don't see them for another week or two, sometimes longer, until we call and complain again.

Again, we paid them in full up front for the job, and we are not receiving the services we paid them for.

It's very hard to get ahold of the company, and even when we do talk to someone all we get is excuses as to why they haven't been out. We receive more promises as to when they will be back to work on the job, only to be let down when they do not show up.

We feel they will never come back to complete the job, as only half the roof has been completed.

This company cannot be trusted, and should definitely not be in business.Desired Settlement: We would love for the job to be completed, but we feel because we have taken drastic measures to contact them, that they will not complete the job in good standards. Bottom line is we don't trust them to do the job as it's supposed to be done.

Review: I needed a roof for my house back at the end of December 2013. I got a couple of quotes and I decided to go with c&c roofing for $6400. It took me until mid January 2014 to get the money. I gave c&c roofing three checks. One of the check was my personal check and two check from work which was made out to c&c roofing. I paid in full for the roof back February 2014. They told me we had to wait for some wamer days. C&C roofing said we needed 2 days to change the roof, the most 3 days. We had a lot of good days but c&c roofing never started changing the roof. They always gave me a excuse. It was to cold, they were buying new tools, had alot of work, we had to wait for warm weather. About three months ago I call c&c roofing and told them I wanted my roof. They went to my house and put a small section of the roof and they were supposed to go back the next day but they didn't. Couple of weeks past and I had to call c&c roofing again. They went and put another small section of the roof. This has been going for a couple of months. They always gave me a excuse. My roof has about seven sections. The last section c&c roofing did was about 2 and a half weeks ago. There is one more section and they wouldn't finish. I need your help.Desired Settlement: They finish the roof asap
