Review: I initially brought my car in for overheating x3 days. They stated that the head gasket was damaged and needed to be replaced for a cost of $1300. I agreed and let the shop begin repairs. One week later, the shop notified me that my car was complete. When I went to pick the car up they stated that the head gasket was repaired and I was good to go. I paid and they brought my car around. When I got into my car, and began to drive, I noticed that it was driving rough and there was a great deal of vibration on acceleration and deceleration. I brought the car back to the shop and let them know if this finding. I let them know that my car had not driven this bad prior to when I brought it into the shop. They looked at the car and stated that the idle was off and adjusted it. I drove again and still experienced the same problem of excessive vibration on acceleration, especially around 1500-3000 rpm. They looked again and then stated that the problem was because I had a broken rear engine mount and that was the reason for the excessive vibration. I did not feel comfortable taking the car home and left it at the shop to be investigated further. They next day, the shop called and stated that the engine was running perfectly and that I could come pick it up. When I returned to the shop, I asked that I test drive with [redacted] (the owner) so that I could demonstrate the problem. He adamantly stated that the problem was due to now 2 broken engine mounts (transmission mount and rear engine mount), both of which they failed to notify me of while fixing the head gasket, which made me think that they were broken during the process or the shop was just negligent in notifying me. They stated that they would not look at the car until I got the engine mounts fixed. I got the engine mounts fixed and returned to the shop with the same problem. The shop again looked at the car and then stated that the problem is now due to two separate engine mounts (passenger side). The owner stated over the phone that he would no longer look over the car and that I should take it to get a second opinion. That is when I took the car back into my possession to be looked at by another shop.Desired Settlement: I initially wanted the shop to legitimately investigate my complaints and fix the new issue that occured after I left my car in their care. Now, I do not trust the shop to handle anything dealing with my car. I would like a refund of labor costs. I will pay for the parts, as they are still in my car, but I want to be refunded for the cost of labor as they caused more damage in the process of fixing the initial problem and refused to acknowledge the problem.
