C & M Homebuilders, Incorporated

Review: We purchased a home from C&M Home builders in December 2008. Approximately 1 year after we moved in, the foundation formed two cracked that were leaking water. We contacted the builder and notified him of the problem. I also consoled with a Structural Engineer and explained the water leakage and he indicated to me that the only way to stop the leak was to dig out the foundation from the outside and patch the cracks. When I told the Construction Manager what my Structural Engineer advised, he told me that my Structural Engineer was a f___ing it. We have been having problems with the basement taking on water ever since. We have tried to contact C&M Home Builders sereral times, but as I understand, they sold the Project to [redacted], [redacted]. We contacted [redacted] and they told us they are not responsible for the homes that C&M Home builders constructed and for us to get in contact with [redacted]. I contact [redacted] and left several messages. I never receive a call back. Our home has a 10 year warranty and no one seems to want to honor our warranty.Desired Settlement: C&M Home Builders guaranteed a dry basement. I want this guarantee to be honored, the foundation fixed correctly and any damages to be reimbursed.
