I am rejecting this
response because:Both CJ Tires and Wes J*** employees stated that the condition of the items were apparent to a mechanic prior to the purchase of the car, and wear and tear for miles would not have caused the dangerous conditions of broken sway bars, broken engine mounts and additional damageI was told to not allow my daughter to drive the car due to unsafe conditions to the extensive damage hidden by the resellerI do understand that these was a model car, but I was assured that this was a safe car for my daughter, and that it had passed inspectionC&W claims tire readings from the sale, yet I am told by two separate professional companies that it is physically impossible for the wear that was observed in July- to have occurred in the time frame we owned and drove the car.We are still seeking a resolution to this issueMy daughter cannot drive the car since it is unsafe and did not pass inspection, the repairs needed to make the car safe- far exceed the purchase price and the Blue Book Value of the car.I am requesting either the $to be refunded and C & W resume ownership of the car OR for C&W to have ALL repairs completed and repairs validated by a 3rd party

Review: We purchased a used car from C & W Auto Sales and were told that the car was is good condition and safe for my 16 year old daughter. At inspection it FAILED due to MULTIPLE serious safety issues! Both inspection companies stated that the issues existed for much longer than we had the car due to the rust and wear. Broken sway bar, resonator, rotors, rusted steel, broken engine supports and struts were some of the items documented by BOTH 3rd Party Inspectors. We were told NOT to drive the car as it was unsafe and dangerous for my daughter.Desired Settlement: A settlement of C & W paying for or making ALL repairs (verified by a 3rd party of our choice) OR returning the car for a refund would be acceptable solutions.

I am rejecting this response because:Both CJ Tires and Wes J[redacted] employees stated that the condition of the items were apparent to a mechanic prior to the purchase of the car, and normal wear and tear for 1400 miles would not have caused the dangerous conditions of broken sway bars, broken engine mounts and additional damage. I was told to not allow my daughter to drive the car due to unsafe conditions to the extensive damage hidden by the reseller. I do understand that these was a 1999 model car, but I was assured that this was a safe car for my daughter, and that it had passed inspection. C&W claims tire readings from the sale, yet I am told by two separate professional companies that it is physically impossible for the wear that was observed in July- to have occurred in the time frame we owned and drove the car.We are still seeking a resolution to this issue. My daughter cannot drive the car since it is unsafe and did not pass inspection, the repairs needed to make the car safe- far exceed the purchase price and the Blue Book Value of the car.I am requesting either the $2000.00 to be refunded and C & W resume ownership of the car OR for C&W to have ALL repairs completed and repairs validated by a 3rd party.
