Review: The heaters in my house were not working properly, I contacted my home warranty ([redacted]y). C & C Mechanical was assigned to my case and reviewed the heating units on November 14, 2014. All repairs to the heating units were completed on November 18, 2014, but during this time the downstairs thermostat broke. C & C stated they didn't have a replacement thermostat on hand, but would bring one on November 19th to replace the broken unit. I left work early on November 19th in order to be at my home when C & C arrived. C&C did not show up on November 19th, after multiple attempts of calling, they finally answered and apologized and stated they would replace the thermostat on November 20th. Once again they were a no show on November 20th. I called multiple times again and finally they responded and stated they would bring the new thermostat on November 21st. It wasn't until 7 PM on November 21st that I received a text from the technician, asking if they could come by and replace the thermostat, I responded stating I had been waiting for them. They finally arrived and replaced the thermostat on November 21st, but they replaced my programmable thermostat with a non-programmable thermostat. I stated I wanted a comparable thermostat with the one that was broken. C & C stated they would contact my home warranty company and see if they would approve a programmable thermostat. After no update, I contact C&C on December 3rd and they stated I was approved for a programmable thermostat and a technician would be out December 5th to install the new thermostat. No technician showed up on December 5th, so I called C&C on December 6th and requested that they drop the thermostat off at my house and we would install it. The technician stated someone was in the area of my home and he would call me back in 5 minutes to confirm the thermostat would be dropped off. He never called me back, and I called and left a message for him later in the afternoon on December 6th. He has yet to return my call and I have tried multiple times to reach out to him and he will not answer his phone. I notified my home warranty company on December 8th of the issue I was encountering. The home warranty company tried to contact the technician and the technician would not to their attempts. Additionally, my home warranty company notified me that C&C never contacted them in regards to a broken thermostat only the broken furnace was reported in the claim.Desired Settlement: I would like for C & C at a minimum to drop off the correct thermostat at my house. Once I receive the correct thermostat I will never do business with them as I have filed a formal complaint with my home warranty and I would not recommend them to anyone.
