On May 12, 2016, Revdex.com accepted the business response via phone call Documentation arrived 5/26/ Below are the notes from the phone callbusiness called and explained his position Consumer presented vehicle complaining of knocking noise Business states while making one repair, he found something else unrelated to the first repair Repairs took a long time because the engine in the consumer's car was different than the parts required for that year/model Business offered documentation to support the reason/length of time for parts.Once repairs were complete, knocking sound was no longer present, but the engine sensor lit up Business worked on the vehicle again, checked timing/timing was good Could not find reason for engine light Business suggested the sensor was bad Business states he has all of the old parts for the vehicle

To whom it may concern,I have contacted the Revdex.com to handle this matter because I wasn't sure of what else to doBefore dropping my car of to C&C auto repair on Greenlawn, I took it up to advanced auto parts and had them test the codesWhen I dropped my car off at the end of January it was for the timing chain being off timing and the knocking sound it was making was also because of the timing chain being off timingI paid $on the 30th of January and paid the remaining balance on the 13th of February, which was $After paying that total completely off, for parts and labor weeks went by and there ended of being more work that needed to be doneNo problem got them the cash and had them order in the parts and paid for the extra labor cost, $laterAfter weeks went by one of he guys finally got back in contact with me and stated that I needed to pay another $for rods, pistons, and rod bearingsGave them the cash and told them to just get it ordered in and fixedWeeks went by after that and haven't heard anything from the shopI'd call and they would always have an excuse to why it wasn't done yetI was finally able to pick my car up in AprilMy girlfriend picked the car up the first time and before getting the car home the check engine light came onWhen my girlfriend picked up the car, one of the guys at the shop told her that the oil light keeps popping on and going off but not sure whyShe took the car to advanced auto parts to get the code tested and sure enough, it was off timing, the same code we put it in the shop forI called the shop and they told me they would take a look at it again to bring it inOne of the guys working their also stated to me on the phone they may or may not have got oil in my oil pump but they cleaned it out as good as they could and if it's the oil pump I will have to buy a new one! Once I dropped the car off to them , a little over a week went by and they called me and told me my car was ready to be picked upThe guy working on the car asked if I wanted to come get it or let the owner drive it around for the rest of the day to make sure the check engine light didn't come onI told them they could go ahead and drive it so they knew it was fixed on their end for sureI go pick my car up the next day and drive it straight homeWhen I picked the car up the guy told me to go easy on it The owner wanted to charge me for the extra labor and the spark plugs that they changed outThe guy that worked on it said he wasn't charging me for their mistake and would just charge for the spark plugs and he would deal with the ownerThe next morning I go to drive it to work and once I got on the freeway the check engine light popped on, along with the oil light, and the knocking was back, like it never was fixed! I called the shop in North Carolina to come get it and just fix itI didn't care what the price would cost me as long as I knew it was going to get fixed the right way this time! We paid for the mechanic to drive up to Ohio and back down to North Carolina to take the car back and work on itOnce the car got back to North Carolina the mechanic was taking the car for a test drive to listen to it and in the middle of the test drive the car cut off on himHe got out the car to call someone to come get him and the car and when he turned around to look at the car it was on fireThank god he broke down right across the street from the fire department and they came over and put it out quicklyNow I am out of the money I paid out to C&C auto repair, the money I paid to the other mechanic, and out of a car that I am still financing on! We had the mechanic also give us statements of everything that was faxed over to the Revdex.com as wellHere is pictures of the car fire as well
