Review: I brought my pants to be dry cleaned, they had a small spot on the front of the them. I showed the spot to the girl that took my pants in. I went back to pick up my pants a little over a week later. I did not even look at them I just hung them up in my closet. A few days later I put them on and went to work. One of my co-workers pointed out that I had stains all over the pants. At lunch I brought them back to Classic Cleaners and the young man that took the pants said they would re-do them to see if they could get the stains out. I told him that these stains were not there when I brought them in to be cleaned. Today, I went to pickup my the pants and the young girl that waited on me told me that the stains did not come out. I told her I wanted them to replace these pants. OR pay me the $80.00 that I paid for them. The young girl kept going back and forth the owner would not come out and discuss the matter with me. I got extremely agitated and left with my pants.Desired Settlement: I want a replacement pair of pants.

Ms. [redacted], at first, claimed that there were no stains or spots on the pants she had brought in. She then changed her story saying that she did bring the pants in with a spot and only one spot.

As soon as she left, thinking it was a little skeptical that she all of a sudden changed her story, we went back and checked the cameras on the day that she dropped off her pants, and the video clearly shows her pointing out at least two different areas of the pants that were stained.

She called the store after she had left, and we told her that there is nothing in the store that would make that type of stain, but she insisted that we were in fault and basically did not want to hear anything we were trying to tell her.

Finally, just wanting to be through with the situation, and wanting to make our customers happy, we offered her $40.00 in-store credit. She said that the in-store credit would be useless because she did not want to ever come back again and demanded to either replace the pants or pay FULL price ($80.00) for the pants which she said was over a year old.

We then told her the best we can do is give her $40.00 in cash because we stand by the fact that we did not stain the pants. Also she has been wearing the pants for a year so we did not think it would be fair to pay her full price for pants that we did NOT damage and something she has been owning for some time now.

She then proceeded to raise her voice and yell at us saying that she is going to tell everyone she knows not to ever come to our cleaners and that she would call the Revdex.com.

If we know that it is our wrong doing, we do take 100% responsibility. Please understand if we let Ms. [redacted] dictate and demand things, we would have to do the same to every other customer and anyone can come in and say that we damaged their clothes and demand money.
