Carland has tried several times to inspect the vehicleThe purchasers son brings the vehicle in and will not leave it and let us look at itWe attempted one time to do so and the purchasers son kept pulling fuzes out while our mechanic was starting the process of inspecting the vehicleCarland
asked the individual if he wanted to work on the car or did he want Carland to work on the vehicle? The purchasers son said he had been working on the carCarland told the individual that he needed to leave the car so we could inspect it and he left againOn 2-4-the purchasers son came in again and still wanted his car inspected but once again he wouldn't leave itCarland will inspect the vehicleThe purchasers son stated to us "I replaced the starter and worked on the wiring." Carland told the purchasers son who isn't a trained mechanic to stop working on the car and let us inspect it and once again he leftCarland will inspect and correct issues as long as they aren't a result of the purchasers son tampering with the vehicle. ThanksCarland

Carland repaired the motor on the [redacted]. The motor didn't need to be replaced but internal parts of the top half of the motor needed replaced and they are new. Carland never changed the bumper. This wouldn't be cost effective. The vehicle is a diamond white color that changes over time due to sun...

fade. The bumper is slightly different than some other panels but those panels are slightly different from the others as well. This is common with the diamond white paint. We offered in good faith to blend the paint and match the bumper up. Carland repaired the vehicle and offered to fix the customers other concern. I am not sure what else we can do to make this customer satisfied. We will continue to reach out the customer and try to resolve his concerns. ThanksCarland Auto

Unfortunately the customers loan was denied by the bank. The customer stated they had a second source of income with the military. The bank during the underwriting process discovered the customer doesn't have the military income anymore. The consumer didn't budget for the loan once the bank...

recalculated the income. The consumer misrepresented there income to the dealership at the time of sale. Carland would be more than happy to provide documentation from the lender stating the reason for the loan denial. Carland did tell the customer if she was able to provide proof of her military income be current and active the bank would re-approve the loan at the original agreed upon terms. Thanks,Carland

The warranty was optional at the time of purchase. The warranty contract details that. Moreover the warranty price the consumer paid is much less than the disputed amount. The consumer can cancel the warranty at any time. Carland LLC has not received any communication from the consumer until this...

complaint. [redacted] will reach out to the customer to help facilitate the warranty cancelation. Thanks

Carland sold Mrs. [redacted] a Mountaineer on July 22nd. The next day Mrs. [redacted] grandaughter brought the vehicle into the dealership because she said it was smoking and making a strange noise. Carland fixed the noise in the rear end and Mrs. [redacted] granddaughter picked the vehicle up. She test...

drove the vehicle and agreed the repair worked and the vehicle was fine. Over a month goes by and Carland doesn't hear from Mrs. Bitsuie. Then in early September she has an attorney draft a letter that she wants us to repurchase the vehicle. The state law is the vehicle has a 15 day and 500 mile warranty. Even though this warranty had expired Carland offered to look at the vehicle again and see if the same problem was occurring. Mrs. [redacted] didn't want or allow Carland to reinspect the vehicle. Carland was happy to assist our customer but the customer wouldn't allow Carland to do so. Thanks

[redacted] came to Carland to purchase a Range Rover on 10-24-2015. He applied for credit and was approved contingent upon the information he provided was accurate. Carland sent the documents for the financing of the Range Rover to the bank. The bank was unable to verify his employment. Mr. [redacted]...

decided he didn't like the Range Rover and wanted to switch to another car. Carland before switching Mr. [redacted] to another car asked specifically if he was employed and all of the information he provided us was accurate. Once again Mr. [redacted] said he was employed and purchased a 2009 Dodge Charger on 10-28-2015. The bank received his loan documents and once again struggled to verify his employment. On 11-03-2015 the bank was able to verify with his employer that Mr. [redacted] didn't work at the company anymore and hadn't worked there for one a month. Mr. [redacted] wasn't employed when he first came to the dealership on 10-24-2015. Mr. [redacted] returned the car to Carland on 11-04-2015. Mr. [redacted] removed the radio from the 2009 Dodge Charger and damaged the dashboard doing so. The reason he did this was he had installed his own custom stereo. Mr. [redacted] brought the vehicle back to the dealership without the factory radio and the dash needing to be fixed. These repairs costs over $800. In addition, Carland spent money fixing his 1999 Lexus in excess of $500. Mr. [redacted] was allowed $1000 for his trade in which is reflected on his contract. Mr. [redacted] didn't want to pay for any of the repairs to the Charger or participate in the repair costs to the Lexus. Carland told Mr. [redacted] he needed to participate because he provided false information. Mr. [redacted] decided he didn't want to and signed his title on his Lexus over to Carland to cover repair costs to both vehicles. Please see the attached document from the lender stating Mr. [redacted] wasn't employed. Carland will reach out to Mr. [redacted] again to see if he has obtained employment and is needing assistance with a vehicle.
