To whom it may concern, On August 29, 2011 [redacted] brought his car in for repairs. His vehicle was hit from behind and pushed into another vehicle. The rear being the primary impact and the front end being the secondary impact. Repairs were made...

to the rear bumper cover, bur not to the frt. cover. The estimate reflects that we took the front bumper cover off of the vehicle and removed the license plate to access for buffing of some scuffs from that area. We did not repair or paint the front bumper cover. This estimate also reflects that we removed and installed (R&I) the grille. We then installed a molding and an emblem that mounts on that grille. The rest of the job consisted of replacing the hood and then blending paint onto the fenders for color match only. Our records indicate that the customer called on 10/25/2011 stating that the hood was too low in the opening. And that the grille doesn't fit quite right. We addressed these issues with [redacted] on 10/26/11. The next time we heard from [redacted] was 5/15/2015. He stated that the bumper paint was peeling and the grille did not fit right. When [redacted] brought the vehicle in for me to see, on .5/18/2015 I noticed the paint peeling on the front bumper cover and the grille not fitting exactly right. There was also a bad spot on the left side of the grille. When I confronted him bout the grille, he said that somebody else had caused that damage and was going to replace the grille for him. I told [redacted] that I agree that the paint was peeling bad on the front bumper cover and I was sorry, but that we did not paint his cover. I showed him the work order with the breakdown of repairs performed but I don't think he believed me. After that,he then said there was a dent on his right front fender that we had never repaired from the accident. I told him the repairs consisted of the front area and not on the side of the fender. I also pointed out several more dents down the right side of his vehicle with the same marks as the fender. These marks were vertical dings consistent of people opening car doors on the side of his vehicle. When he ask me about the grille fit, I told him that once the person that damaged the grille, replaced it, that we could do any final adjustment that needed to be done around that area. I read the complaint that he had talked to the adjuster and the adjuster agreed with [redacted]. I called the adjuster. He said the [redacted] did not mention witch bumper had the peeling paint. There was a repair and paint on the rear bumper but the front bumper that was peeling was not painted by us. The adjuster agreed and said he would call [redacted] back and let him know of the mistake. [redacted] thinks that for good faith that 1 should take care of this problem. If we would have painted this cover and it was peeling, we would have taken care of it. To redo this cover by stripping and painting, would cost In the neighborhood of $800. I cannot afford to do this when It Is not our fault. We have enclosed a copy of the estimate of repairs that we used in this repair. Please note on line 3 of this estimate shows repair of the REAR bumper and painting. On line 8 of this estimate reflects what we did to the front bumper that is in question. It shows that we removed (R&I) the bumper cover, replaced the license frame, and buffed scuffs @ the license frame. That does not say we repaired or refinished that cover in any way. Thank You, [redacted]
