C & F Tire

Review: I had taken my 2009 [redacted] to C&F, to replace a flat, sometime in July 2015. It was great customer service, they had a used tire in stock (which was all I could afford) and installed it. As a result, knowing I needed the left front tire as well as the two rear, I went in to advise them that I could afford the other 3 by Wed. of this week (when I receive my SSDI payment), and just wanted to make sure they had the three already or would at least have them by said Wednesday. He came out looked at the tires, and returned stating that they had them in stock and would put them aside.

Wednesday, August 12, 2015, and they installed only the two rear, indicating that:

1) They only had two AFTER they had replaced both.

2) Once again I thought the service was okay, and thought Id return later this past week for the last one.

After paying $70.45 and departing I noted that it still did not appear to be riding properly, and if anything, it was riding rougher, and causing the steering to be off. I stopped at two different tire stores to check them. Both of them indicated the same thing: that the two rear tires were the wrong size !! I have documentation from STS indicating the correct size needed, which is P205/55R16 (front and rear). What was written on both tires as well as C&F receipt is 195/5516.

On Friday, August 14, 2015, I walked into C&F Tires and spoke directly to the manager/owner, telling him what the problem was, but did not even let me finish, said "we didn't do that" (even though I was showing him their receipt), walked away irate, and slammed the door from the office to the garage.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $72.00 plus damages - as I understand it, the wrong size (and age) is a dangerous safety matter, and threatens my safety when driving my vehicle.
