C H M Lawnmover Repair

January 2014, I contacted CHM Lawn Repair after finding the company on a BING search. I spoke with someone named [redacted] and made an appointment for my lawnmower to be picked up and serviced. The lawnmower was to be tuned up, blades sharpened and the thumb pump that was leaking gas fixed.I asked if I needed a service receipt and was told, "No". After 3 days my lawnmower was returned and [redacted] was paid $124.00 cash as he did not want a check. My lawnmower was started and appeared to work fine and was put in the shed. [redacted] assured me that the work was guaranteed for a year. April 14, 2014, I took the lawnmower out of the shed to cut my grass and the lawnmower started smoking with oil burning. I turned the lawnmower off and called [redacted]. I was told by [redacted] he would try to get to me by 4pm that day, but to call him if he was not able to make it. I called him around 6am when he was a no show and was told he would come and repair the lawnmower April 15, 2014, around 3pm on but to call him as he had a couple of pickups and delivery to make. I called him at 1:30pm, 04.15.2014 and was told he would be at my within 2-3 hours. I again called around 5pm, 04.15.2014 and was told by [redacted] he was in Renton and then had to go to Auburn and it would be dark when when he would be able to get to me in NE Tacoma but he would repair my lawnmower at my house. I waited until 9pm and put the lawnmower away. [redacted] called me at 9:00pm and it was pitch dark. I explained we had put the lawnmower away because it was so late and was told by [redacted] he wasn't coming back to fix the lawnmower as he was not going to drive a 100 miles for nothing. I asked him what he meant and was told he lives in Marysville and was not going to drive back to fix my facelawnmower. When I made an attempt to explain to him that I had been trying to get my lawnmower fixed for two days, [redacted] hung the phone up. I had my brother call and he was that I did not have a choice about the situation.
