Final Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2014/05/06) */
Aloha ***,
The below rebuttal reply is on behalf of *** *** operating C&J Creations regarding Case #*** from ***I do not work for C&J Creations directly, but function as their Web Master for their websiteCustomer also initiated State of Hawaii, Office of Consumer Protection case *** of which I directly talked to the Investigator, ***, and explained the belowBoth you and *** will be updated when the purchased order has been shipped
Customer, ***, was phone contacted by myself on Saturday, April, at approx5:45pmI first apologized for C&J's delay to produce her design in a more efficient mannerI let *** know her requested design was a bit challenging to begin with and explained *** *** should have likely turned down her requested pattern however, I believe *** did let the customer know this would take some extra time to createTold her *** sometimes has a difficult time to tell customers no, when he should say no, but tells them yes as he has never given up on a design and wants to obviously maintain a repeated loyal customer baseI told *** that during the months that has since expired on her order, *** has been working on her pattern and months is somewhat unusual, but I have seen intricate patterns take this long beforeRare, but has happened, whereas it normally takes C&J approxweeks on average to no more than weeks at most to create fairly common patterns*** wanted her personal motorcycle engraved on her bracelet and provided a somewhat darkened pictureI told *** that *** should have contacted her and asked for a brighter picture out in the sun to capture more details vice under cover with darker shadowing, so *** failed to do this believing he could still complete the pattern with her darkened picture
Then approxsometime late March to early April, *** reversed the $payment from her credit card off her $order's totalAs Mr*** does not have a strong command of English, he was a bit confused, and pretty much stopped working on the design for approx2-weeksHowever, Mr*** failed to contact the customer and ask her what was going on or letting her know order statusI told Mrs*** that C&J Creations is a very popular company known for producing well-made hand-crafted, Hawaiian Heirloom designs at "very competitive" prices and they have a constant backlog
Mrs*** contacted me on or about March asking me to contact *** regarding order status as he had not returned her previous phone callsI attempted to contact *** for the next days and was not able to get a hold of him due to his working a backlog of ordersI failed to continue to follor physically see Mr*** to communicate Mrs*** was trying to get a hold of him, so he was not aware of this phone callI told *** I sincerely apologize for my failure to communicate better as I became sidetracked in my own business and did not continue to contact Mr***, which exacerbated the situationRegardless, I told *** these were all excuses, although some were valid, in the business world they are still excuses
Talking to Mr*** on April, he stated he would still like to complete the order, but needed approxmore weeksHe was also willing to waive the $chargeback and treat it as a discount for the customer's delayed order
Mrs*** was somewhat hesitant about allowing extra weeks to complete her order, but appreciated thee discount and stated she was willing to offer C&J Creations more time to make true on this promiseAs such, *** understood some of the excuses as she operates her own business and she accepted a promised completion date of Saturday, MayAt the end of our conversation, *** was satisfied with the plan to resolve her Revdex.com case issue/s
The above is true and correct to the best of my abilities
Sincerely,
***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I have not received the hawaiian pendant as of today and have checked the usps tracking number and it is an invalid #. I've attached the tracking info so you can verify that it's not valid.
Sincerely,
