Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As outlined in the pictures of the receipts attached, the first "A/C Service" performed on my [redacted] included a service and a recharge feeI clearly stated upon bringing my vehicle to the shop that the A/C system was blowing warm air, and that I wanted the system checked for leaksI told the shop technician to call with updates regarding the vehicle if any additional work was to be performedI never received any update stating the status of the vehicleI did receive a phone call the following day stating that the vehicle was "all set and ready for pick-up." Upon receiving the vehicle I asked what was causing the refrigerant to leak out of the system and blow warm airThe shop owner stated that there were "no leaks present" and that the system just required a rechargeI questioned that how could refrigerant simply "disappear" without any leaks presentThe owner firmly stated that there were "no leaks." As outlined in my second receipt attached, I returned to the shop because once again my A/C began to blow warm airI stated once again to check the system, and to call with updates if any work was to be performedI did not hear back from anyone in the shop until my vehicle was finishedUpon completion I received a phone call from one of the technicians stating, "your truck is all set, there was a huge leak in the main a/c line and we had to change it." I was quite frustrated because it seemed odd that I was first told "no leaks", then all of a sudden there is a large leak in one of the linesWhen I received the receipt I noticed I was charged again for refrigerantMy hope was that the shop would work with me on this charge, as I just paid them one month prior for not fixing the issue to begin withThe first week of August was my third trip to the shop because the A/C began to blow warmer air once againThis time the technician brought the truck in and stated that a "small" leak was found at the A/C condenser, and that this particular issue would cost $400-to fixI stated to the shop owner that my truck has now been there times for an A/C system issue, I paid over $300, and I am still stuck with warm airThe owner stated that none of the work is ever guaranteed to fix the issue, and that the leak which was currently present was "so hard to find." My response was that I took it to the shop to have the issue fixed because I had confidence they would get the work doneInstead I got charged on two separate occasions without resolution of my issueMy hope was that the shop would be willing to work with me on the charges that I already incurred which did not fix my issueThe owner insinuated that paying him every month or two for A/C recharges is "not too bad." He also stated that it was "luck" that they ended up finding this leak at the A/C condenserI told the shop owner that I did not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle there at that timeThis is my reason for filing a complaint with the Revdex.comI am requesting that the shop do the RIGHT thing and compensate me at least for the A/C refrigerant charges that were an unnecessary way to earn a few extra dollars from me Sincerely, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:As outlined in the pictures of the receipts attached, the first "A/C Service" performed on my [redacted] included a service and a recharge fee. I clearly stated upon bringing my vehicle to the shop that the A/C system was blowing warm air, and that I wanted the system checked for leaks. I told the shop technician to call with updates regarding the vehicle if any additional work was to be performed. I never received any update stating the status of the vehicle. I was quite frustrated because it seemed odd that I was first told "no leaks", then all of a sudden there is a large leak in one of the lines. When I received the receipt I noticed I was charged again for refrigerant. My hope was that the shop would work with me on this charge, as I just paid them one month prior for not fixing the issue to begin with. The first week of August was my third trip to the shop because the A/C began to blow warmer air once again. This time the technician brought the truck in and stated that a "small" leak was found at the A/C condenser, and that this particular issue would cost $400-500 to fix. I stated to the shop owner that my truck has now been there 3 times for an A/C system issue, I paid over $300, and I am still stuck with warm air. The owner stated that none of the work is ever guaranteed to fix the issue, and that the leak which was currently present was "so hard to find." My response was that I took it to the shop to have the issue fixed because I had confidence they would get the work done. I told the shop owner that I did not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle there at that time. This is my reason for filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. I am requesting that the shop do the RIGHT thing and compensate me at least for the A/C refrigerant charges that were an unnecessary way to earn a few extra dollars from me.
