Our service technician went out to the customer's house on May 29,2014 and the service technician called and said there were too many issues with customer's dryer and was interested in a gas dryer that we had. We took care of the process and delivered it that day. The dryer was tested before it left our store. Customer called and said it wasn't heating like it should so a service technician went back out and took a part off of the dryer to order it, at this time it was still heating. When the customer called back the next day he said it wasn't working and he demanded a refund I told him we had a no refund policy that he was told about before purchase and on the receipt he signed. He got loud with me and I told him I needed to speak with the owner about the situation. The service technician went out and decided it would be better if we tell him he could keep the dryer and refund him the money. As of June 6,2014 we wrote a check for $294.25 and mailed it to the customer.

We were told that customer's stove worked but they wanted to upgrade. That is why we waived her delivery because we were told her stove worked. We answered all of the customer's call until he started getting rude and hostile and we told her she was out of her warranty and to please contact another business.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.If my original stove (Kenmore Elite that matched the rest of my appliances) worked why would I have been buying a different one from Milligans?  So the fact that they were told it worked is not true.  When they were at the house they asked what was wrong with this one.  They were told it didn't heat up.I contacted the Revdex.com to get a response from Milligans because Milligans was longer were returning my calls or answering the phone when I called.  This certainly cannot be construed as hostility.My warranty was 30 days, 28 of those days the stove did not work, see attached for timeline.  The new part had a 90 day warranty on it, installed on 12/13/2014 and broke again on 1/19/2015.  Clearly within the warranty period.Regards,[redacted]
