I did tell Mr [redacted] that I would make a refund to him. Then I received this Revdex.com complaint the next day. therefore everything changed. I did not send him a check. As he apparently decided to make a bigger issue by bringing in the Revdex.com, Mr [redacted] has sued almost all the automotive repair shops he has dealt with in my area. Since he is Litigious, and to avoid being sued and wasting a lot of time with him I stopped the refund process to find out what the Revdex.com could do to help settle this matter. The insults he is throwing around makes me think a refund is not the right thing to do. I will wait for the Revdex.com response before going any further.

[redacted] at Dyno shop stated that he will issue the refund immediately. Actually he told me to go with my credit card to his shop for refund. I preferred for him to send me a check witch he agreed. I did not received the check yet nor I expect [redacted] to keep his promise. By his totally false response and disrespect toward his customers he confirms again what his customers and peers are stating , that he simply is as crooked as they come. Not just that but he needs to rip off his customers so he can get the money to maintain his habits.

No other information was given about any other prices or stipulations at this time nor until When Mr [redacted] spoke...

with the technician he asked him to install his other file in the truck to compare the running of it, My technician should not have done this he should have told mr [redacted] no, and that before additional work was to be done he has to go the office and get an updated estimate for the additional timepresented with the bill in the end of the service. The technician strapped the truck down and then he decided on his own (this is a lie) to edit the tune I had in the truck. The only service that we agreed upon was only the 160.00 dyno pull.He did not do a back up of the existing tune before editing or trying to save it. As is just common procedure when dealing with computer tunes or computers in general he should had backed up the program before doing anything.  With him asking the tech to load the other file in the truck that means there is already a backup in his tuning device.So .any times when uploading programs they install corrupted. I witness that first hand in so many instances. Also he should not had done any editing (no editing was done) anyway as we did not discussed about any further services or quotes. As a result he lost my program by randomly uploading a different tune from the ones avalaible. (as he was asked to do by mr [redacted])How he decided to just pick a random tune is unexplainable as he had no clue what that tune was.(lie again) The tune he loaded was a bed (bad) tune that someone else put in there. (Which is the tune file he told us to install) I had to spend 4 hours to find the tune he lost and get it back in. (he did not find the tune we did, we traveled over to the other shop and got the file)Amazingly you charged me for every single minute that I was there. (not true some time was not charged), he should have paid for all the time spent on his truck as shop labor is by the hour as all service type  work is)I though that I should give you time to realize your mistake (time???). I briefly mentioned the issue when you presented me with the bill. Upon your reaction I decided not to escalate the issue at that time as my health condition does not allow me that.I am asking you at this time to refund the whole charge minus the agreed 160.00.The license charge also should be reimbursed at this time as it was the result of improper procedures. I understand that if used in the future due to future service I will have to support the charge. [redacted]I have spoken with Mr [redacted] on  12/6/17 about this situation, he really believes his side to be true, which it is not the case in this situation.The mistake we made was my technician did as he was asked to do by mr [redacted], and not following procedure by making him go to the office for a proper updated invoice estimate. Mr [redacted] is not reasonable and as I have seen many customers in the past as soon as they get past the office there is the sneakiness to try and get extra work at no additional cost as he did here. I concluded the conversation and agreed to return some of the previous amount charged him,  not because he is correct but because I don’t have time and the need to deal with un reasonable people like this man and his lies. Shame on him.I have mailed a check, minus the 160, sales tax, a quart of oil, and lic fee.[redacted]###-###-####

I sent you 3 emails. This is the 4th. This issue is not closed. Dyno Shop did not send me the amount promised.Who receives your emails?[redacted]

I received a check from Dyno shop for the amount agreed with [redacted] minus $250.00 witch is still due. Again as agreed on the phone the only charge that was brough to my attention and agreed upon  was $160.00. My card should only be charged $160.00.[redacted]

Before doing any work on The subject vehicle I explained to the customer the check engine light turns on due to a problem in the emission control/fuel injection system. The vehicles computer stores a trouble code that provides us starting point to run diagnostic tests on the circuits to determine...

what components are bad ie... Fuses, wires, sensors, control modules, etc...the code does not tell us what to replace, there is labor involved to test the systems. It was our mistake for letting her know if it needed the oxygen sensor it would be a certain dollar amount without adding in that total the testing needed to determine the actual problem with her car. The amount charged for testing and repair on the vehicle was fair, the customer agreed to pay for the repair, I explained to her what we were doing, although she seemed very short on the phone (busy) when I called her. I wish she would have told me she did not understand what I was telling her. she should not have told me to go ahead and fix her car if she did not want us to, we did have to run the tests to prove the part was bad.It would be careless and irresponsible of us to change her oxygen sensor or any part with out running tests first, what if it was a fuse or a broken wire? and we changed the oxygen sensor?I contacted the consumer by phone left her a message and offered a refund in the amount requested. waiting for her response. We pride our shop in taking care of our clients, honestly and truthfully, we treat every car as if it was our mothers or daughters driving them.
