This email is in response to a complaint that was submitted on 7/8/by [redacted] , Revdex.com Case # [redacted] As stated in Ms [redacted] complaint, on 5/19/2015, while her [redacted] R/T was being serviced in our body shop department, one of our associates drove Ms [redacted] vehicle and was involved in an accidentMs [redacted] vehicle was unrepairable and was declared totaled AutoNation took full responsibility to ensure that this customer was compensated for the accident First, we ensured Ms [redacted] was provided with transportation while we worked on her caseShe was provided a loaner vehicle at no charge on 5/13/and she returned it wrecked on 6/15/Currently, the estimated damages on the vehicle are between $- $We are currently working on this claim, which Ms [redacted] is fully responsible for the damages Lastly, our insurance company (ESIS) has settled her claim in regards to the damages to her vehicleMs [redacted] settled for the amount of $24,Ms [redacted] had a loan balance of $23,426, which ESIS paid off the loan and issued her a check for the difference of about $ AutoNation is not responsible for any down payments, finance charges, late fees, transfer fees, or any other fees related to the financing of her vehicle at the time she purchased itTherefore, we will not pay her disputed amount of $ In conclusion, Ms [redacted] has been compensated in full for the accident that occurred on 5/20/and is currently responsible for the damages done to the loaner we provided to her Thank you

On Thursday, April 30, 2015, Ms*** *** brought her Cobalt to our Service department to get a state inspection, brake inspection, and oil change/tire rotationIn addition, she
asked us to check the airbag light indicatorAfter all inspections were completed, it was determined that Ms*** should have both front and back brakes replaced as well her right headlight replaced in order to pass inspectionAll of the repairs were completed and Ms*** picked up the vehicle the same day
On Friday, May 1st, Ms*** contacted us letting us know that her turn signal is not working properly and she felt that it was due to the repairs we done on her vehicle*** *** (Service Manager) and *** *** (Service Advisor) explained to Ms*** that the repairs completed have no coalition with the turn signalNone of the repairs completed on her vehicle had anything to do with the steering columnHowever, being that she was a previous customer, we offered to repair the turn signal issue at the dealership’s costMs*** apparently did not like this response and has filed a written complaint
On Monday, May 4th, AutoNation Chevrolet Hwy has decided to repair the turn signal issue at not cost due to customer satisfaction*** *** called Ms*** with this offer and she accepted
On Tuesday, May 5th, Ms*** brought her vehicle to our Service department and her turn signal issue on her vehicle was fixedMs*** has expressed her gratitude and is completely satisfied with the work completedIf you need any further information, please let us know AutoNation Chevrolet Hwy

As stated in Ms. [redacted] complaint, on 5/19/2015, while her 2011 [redacted] R/T was being serviced in our body shop department, one of our associates drove Ms. [redacted] vehicle...

and was involved in an accident. Ms. [redacted] vehicle was unrepairable and was declared totaled.
AutoNation took full responsibility to ensure that this customer was compensated for the accident.
First, we ensured Ms. [redacted] was provided with transportation while we worked on her case. She was provided a loaner vehicle at no charge on 5/13/2015 and she returned it wrecked on 6/15/2015. Currently, the estimated damages on the vehicle are between $1500 - $2000. We are currently working on this claim, which Ms. [redacted] is fully responsible for the damages.
Lastly, our insurance company (ESIS) has settled her claim in regards to the damages to her vehicle. Ms. [redacted] settled for the amount of $24,601.13. Ms. [redacted] had a loan balance of $23,426, which ESIS paid off the loan and issued her a check for the difference of about $1175.
AutoNation is not responsible for any down payments, finance charges, late fees, transfer fees, or any other fees related to the financing of her vehicle at the time she purchased it. Therefore, we will not pay her disputed amount of $4049.00.
In conclusion, Ms. [redacted] has been compensated in full for the accident that occurred on 5/20/2015 and is currently responsible for the damages done to the loaner we provided to her.
