The Treasurer’s office strives to provide extraordinary service to our customers We go above and beyond to make sure that our customers are taken care of and questions are answered professionally and accurately This recent complaint has several accusations that are inaccurate I
understand that customers get upset when they discover that they owe bills However, it is our job to collect revenue that is due to the City and we have to enforce collections to protect the City’s interest as well as our citizens I do not feel the need to go into further detail of the reasons that this customer still owes a bill nor do I feel it is professional to do so This office will continue to provide good customer service to our citizens and have an open door policy at all times for customers with concerns

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
