C L Trucking & Excavating has provided snow removal services at my home for approximately four yearsDuring the winter of 2012-2013, we had billing issues in which the company stated we had not paid a $billWhen we were made aware of the situation in August (regarding a service performed in January), we paid the bill, expressing our concern that we did not believe we had been billed previouslyAs a result of this experience, we maintained a file with every bill sent to us for the winter of 2013-2014, as well as a record of each check written to cover the billsOn 10/23/2014, the owner, [redacted] , came to our home with a bill and demanded to know why he had to drive "all the way to our home" (a distance of less than miles) to get paidI indicated that we had paid every bill that was sent to our home, to which he replied that he had sent three billsI responded that he had not and that I had a record of each invoice we had receivedI have to believe that if we had been billed three times that we would have managed not to lose at least one of those bills! The dates that were covered under this invoice had not, in fact, been billed to us, so we believed that we owed the money to C L Trucking & ExcavatingWe suggested that Mr [redacted] should review his billing process to ensure he does not have similar problems in the futureMr [redacted] screamed at us several times, using vulgar languageMr [redacted] was given the amount on the invoice and was asked to leave the property, as his behavior was inappropriateHe continued to yell at us and was again asked to leaveHe did not, so he was asked to leave or we would have to contact law enforcement, as we felt he was out of control and we were in potential danger (Mr [redacted] has a reputation in the community for being "hot-headed" and inappropriate, which was the basis for our concern)At this point, Mr [redacted] left the property as requested
