When we purchased this stick, it came with the directions to put a screw in the stick to hold the head in place (see the photos of the stick with those directions printed on the stick) There were no directions to put a piece of tape between the head and the stick and there certainly wasn't any direction to view a random YouTube video which has nothing to do with the C-company As seen in the attached photos, after months of use, the screw hole failed and tore out all the way to the end of the stick I still feel this is a failure of the stick, not the head, and not the installation
It is common knowledge in the lacrosse community when inserting the head on to the handle, to check the tightness of the head on handleThe screw is not to carry a load, only to prevent the head from flying off If the head is not properly installed, the screw begins to carry a load and damages the screw insertion point There are many different manufacturers of heads and handles Mixing and matching of different manufacturers equipment is a common practice in the sport of lacrosse The C-Lacrosse handle in question is universal in design, universal referring to there is no functional difference between the top and the bottom of the handle Our recommendation to correct this issue is to rotate the handle degrees or upside down Re-set the head on the handle securely and re-insert the screwThis will not have an impact on the remaining portion of the warranty and will be 100% functional The improper application of the head on the handle is a human error, not a manufacturer’s defect Our industry leading month warranty covers manufacturers defects, not human error
