They continue to call after being told they have the wrong number. Evil!

They're a bunch of scammer that deserve to *** along with the rest of their useless family. I love calling these people back and hanging up on them.

I receive their calls ad nauseum. They haven't left a message but I've blocked them via my carrier so I won't have to deal with their *** anymore (at least until they spoof another number).

Everything people are saying is true, they somehow acquire your information and tell you you owe on something from 20 years ago. I'd like to know how a company like this can legally even exist and why they are not shut down.

Scam... they say that they would take my house away or would take my paycheck away to pay off my ollllddddd bill..
Serious??,
They should be shut down....

Scam artists. They buy old lists that shouldn’t be even sold and they are calling the people illegally.

C&M Associated group called me from the number 708-680-3256 January 23 2020 at 11:24 Am.
They even had a social number.
I have been fighting many of these fly by night companies about a debt that doesn’t exist. This has been going on over 10 years plus. I have sent certified letters to other companies requesting proof of debt. Now this company used tactics illegal telling me they would file do documents with that court. And had private information. When will places like this be held liable for there illegal practices. And if it was a legit debt which it is not then the limitation in Ohio is 6 years to collect. These people need sued.

This company keeps harrassing me about an account that was discharged in bankruptcy. Do not contact me again after providing me with written confirmation that you will cease and desist from all communications AND that you have removed any negative mark from my credit report, and deleted my information related to this account from all of our systems COMPLETELY AND FOREVER.

Very rude to call someone at 6:59 am which happened this morning. I wasn't awake enough to find my phone let alone answer it. I listen to message and call number given, the man who answered asked if I was in Kansas when I asked why is his company calling people at 6:59 am. He transfered me to another man who asked if I was in Texas because of my area code. Said I owed almost 2000 to *** used from 2001 to 2012, was very rude when I asked when it was opened. He said it was possible that I had a *** card, which I never had one. I was disabled in 1999. I asked for information to be sent to me thru mail..that's when he got very ugly and then hung up on me when I asked it be certified since I never had received anything from them and hung up on me, before asking for my mailing address. Whenever I move I put in a change of address with the us postal service. They have my phone number which is 3 years old but I haven't lived in Kansas since 2013

This place called me about a supposed debt that I had in 2008 that I have never heard about. When I asked them to prove it was my debt they said they didn't have to and that they would be garnishing my wages. They have no idea that I am in the credit profession and am clearly aware of my rights.

Extremely rude, call about 10-20 times a day. Already disputed the charges on the account almost 20 years ago. Was opened by my ex-wife after we were divorced. LONG past the statute of limitations.
Not to mention he didn't even have the correct person when he started the conversation. Tried to pretend that they are a real law firm and that they are going to be in court tomorrow to get a judgment and lien against my employment.
Had a friend that worked for one of these places years ago and I've got very good lawyers. Know your rights and don't let them bully you.

I answered the phone to a sweet "receptionist" who told me I needed to speak with the case manager or something. She said I had a debt that needed to be taken care of, I said "ok" because NEVER NEVER NEVER admit to any debt over the phone period. She then transferred me to another person who became very aggressive right away about there being 2 debts in my name and wanted to know if I was going to "take care of my debts" and that they had sent me letters telling me that I owed this money. I told them I didn't receive any letters and lets check the address so they can send it to me. He refused saying that he wasn't going to send me any other letters. That time had past and he again yelled "are you going to take care of your debts." at that point I said, I don't even know if these debts are mine. I need proof that they even belong to me. at which point he yelled even louder about me taking care of my obligations or something like that. At that point I hung up on him. I will never talk to these people. If they want to sue me, then go ahead. start court proceedings. I will answer to any legitimate court paperwork. I will not be harassed by these people and honestly neither should you.

I received a call from this agency on or around February 13, 2019 regarding collecting a debt, the first call was not a pleasant one, I was threatened with law suits, liens on my home/bank account. I was hung up on after becoming angry. I called this agency back the next day and spoke to with a gentleman, and came up with a possible agreement. I in turn gave my checking account information to authorize a 1 time payment, and was told that they would not take the remaining balance out without my permission. I was contacted a few times, the call I received on the 21 st of February, I told the gentleman that I was working with that I was hoping that money would be in the account by March 1, but at this time I did not have it. I did ask for more a little more time to pay off the "settlement" but was told I needed to apply more money which I did not have at this time. This gentleman had told me that he would call again the day before the payment was due which would've been on the 28th, in which he did.....I told him at that time I did not have the money in my account, I was informed with that the debt would have to go to court and that I could have these said liens that I was threatened with in a prior conversation, so I said well unfortunately at this time I can pay this. I went to the bank on March 4, 2019 to withdraw a little cash and low and behold there were insufficient funds in my account, to my dismay I checked my account because I had made a deposit on March 1, 2019 in which I made my house payment with, but looking at my account this C & M Associates had withdrawn 1594.00 from my account on FEBRUARY 27, 2019 2 days before it was due. I called the agency yesterday morning and was told that I had authorized this transaction by giving my checking account number because this payment was post dated for the 28th......I did not.....THEY STOLE THE MONEY FROM ACCOUNT, MY HOUSE PAYMENT BOUNCED, THEY REFUSE MY EMAIL...I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE DA IN IL.

We are in receipt of your correspondence pertaining to the above-reference complaint for Robin *** and are ready to respond.

After reviewing Ms. account on our database, we do see where she had a few conversations with the representative that was helping her with her account. On February 14, 2019, the account representative over the account details with Ms. and discussed options to resolve the matter. Ms. entered into an agreement to pay the account off and at that point she set up payment arrangements. Her first payment was scheduled for the next day (February 15th), and then a final payment scheduled for February 28, 2019. The first payment was processed and approved with no problem. As a courtesy reminder, a week later (on February 21st) the account representative contacted Ms. regarding the final payment. According to the notations on the account, Ms. indicated that she would have the funds available as scheduled for February 28, 2019. On February 28, 2019 Ms. payment was processed as scheduled. However, Ms. contacted the account representative the day that the payment had already processed to advise that she didn't have any money and could not make the payment, and also requesting to alter her arrangements (30) to (45) days out. The representative explained to her that the payment has already been sent to the merchant for processing and we could not stop the payment from processing. The representative also explained that if she had contacted us a day or two prior we could have canceled out the payment and not sent it out to process, and perhaps work with her to make other arrangements. Ms. gave us the indication that the money was not gonna be in her bank account and the amount would be returned as insufficient funds (so we were prepared for the returned check and made notations on the account as such). Then on March 4, 2019 the account representative and Ms. had a final conversation that the final payment did clear her bank and she couldn't pay her other bills. The account representative explained to her again that all she had to do was contact our office prior to the date of the scheduled payment to advise us to cancel the payment (she waited too late to say that she didn't have the money - her payment had already been sent to the merchant to process). So at that point, Ms. just ask the representative will she be getting a PAID IN FULL / SATISFACTORY LETTER from us to show that she paid the account off. The representative responded and told her YES she would receive the letter within (30) days of her final payment posting and then that was the end of the conversation.

We have not received any emails from Ms. - our email transmission is open and working perfectly fine. We haven't had any problems with receiving any incoming emails to date. If that were so, we wouldn't have received this complaint from Revdex.com (that's they only way we receive complaints from Revdex.com is through email). Unless, Ms. does not have our correct email address, but I don't see that being the problem. And by no means do we refuse to speak with any of our clients, unless they are very belligerent and disrespectful to our representatives (we may discontinue the call with permission from the office manager). We did not *** any money from Ms.. She willingly set up all payment arrangements with the account representative and we also followed up with written correspondence to her home address and via telephone (on 2/21/20190 with the initial agreement made. If she needed to adjust her payment arrangements, she could have called us prior and we have accommodated her as such.

C & M Associates Group Response • Mar 15, 2019

In response to Ms. rejection, Mr. David *** of C & M Associates Group Inc. contacted Ms. via telephone on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 to discuss the matter in hopes to come to a resolution. It was determined that there was a misunderstanding regarding the processing of Ms. payment. However, Mr. and Ms. did resolve the matter and have also agreed to keep her payment/account status as is. Ms. will be receiving a satisfactory letter that the account has been paid in full and it is now considered to be closed.

Also, it was established that the email address Ms. had for C & M Associates Group Inc. was incorrect. The email address she was trying to send us a message to was [email protected]; however, our email address is [email protected]. It was just a matter of a few letters on the end that caused her email to be rejected and not received by our office. We did clear that up with Ms. as well. Our office practices is that we respond to all consumers no matter the circumstances.

Attached is a letter of apology to Ms. to place on file that we agreed to submit to her as both parties effort to amicably resolve this matter. If Ms. has any additional questions or concerns, she may contact our office at any time to speak with Mr. David *** directly.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: Although I did speak with Mr., I do not agree that this was just a misunderstanding. I told him that I was lied too and still feel the money taken out of my account was done without my consent. Mr. tried to explain how they go about collecting the money, however when I first spoke with Mr. Molina, and agreed to pay 178.00 and reluctantly gave my checking account number, I was promised that no monies would be taken out of my account without my consent, I was NEVER told that the remaining balance is post dated for the date they give you regardless. I spoke with Mr. on February 28, 2019 because according to him my due date to pay the remaining balance was March 1, 2019, and after I explained to Mr. I did not have the money in my account to pay the balance of 1594.00, the money had already been taken from my account, therefore it was taken without my consent. I will never think any different. As for the email, I clicked on the link that was sent to me in an email, however apparently once you do that the whole email address does not appear, therefore it doesn't get to them.

Sincerely,

Robin

This company and I use the word loosely has the rudest and most despicable liars for employees. They didn't even get my name right. Threatening to have our alledged account from 21 years ago sent in for legal action and we would be sued. This b... ch refused to discuss the matter with me and even told me to shut up. We agreed to the terms but have investlgated since and will not be another notch on the belt of this dishonest and disreputable place of business. Don't fall for it.

They called and harassed my whole family. Then threatened to call the local authorities when I called them repeatedly because they kept hanging up on me. The response I got was “we’re not looking for you”. Okay, you called my phone but you don’t want to talk to me. Lol. Scam. Don’t give them any information and don’t let them bully you. And if they’re reading this...ya’ll messed with the wrong house.

They have continually tried to contact me for a year they do not send you anything in writing they are rude obnoxious they are trying to collect from something that was included in my bankruptcy and I don't know how to get them to stop calling. I put one star just to get this posted they're like a -5

C & M Associates Group, Inc., phone number(s) 855-717-6681 and 708-290-3179, et al, call me from a variety of numbers every day, sometimes more than once per day. Today, they finally left a message, so I returned their call to determine why they continued to call me. The stated I owed a debt and they had been sending me correspondence to that effect. When I told them I hadn't received anything and could they please send me another letter providing the debt information, they said they would not. I told them if they wouldn't provide me the information, to stop calling me. They said they wouldn't until I paid them. I have never heard of this company nor the company they say I owe money to (Direct Merchants). I told them I didn't have anything on my credit card as such either. I continue to block their numbers but I will post reviews to warn others and try to get an address to send them a dispute letter.

Chadworth and Macon contacted my family over a credit card debt. I do not agree with this so I called to find out why and they said because I did not answer them and if I would like to pay them $352 dollars right now this would be done. I explained that I didn’t have any extra money right now but I would appreciate if they did not contact my family any further. She responded how about small payments I repeated I do not have any extra money right now. So she went on to ask me if I intended to pay this debt on my own I told her this was the third time I was telling her I didn’t have any extra money right now. So she said what is your sisters number I told her I did not know it off the top of my head so she yells at me that she can’t delete it if I can’t tell her what it is. I told her she should be contacting no one besides me in regards to this she responded with the 6604 number I said yes and she said well we won’t be calling anymore anyway we’ll just see you in court.Since you are gainfully employed not knowing what else to say or do at this point I said okay thank you then and goodbye. This company threatened me and I wish I had recorded it as there are better ways like asking when I thought I might be able to start paying. The only debt I can think this might be is from 4+ years ago when I took a huge pay cut to remain employed but without many details I can’t be sure. I just know yelling at me and threatening court and garnishment of my wages is not a way to get paid and over a few hundred dollars that I might have when my next student loan gets processed. I don’t think they were kind or fair I’m just a person trying to get by.

This business is a scam, they buy extremely old debit, from 1990-2008 that’s really cheap & has reach its credit statue limitations (which is seven years). They tell you that you have a case number making it seem as if it’s a legit court case, they google your state too see your county. This company is fraud & you DO NOT HAVE TO PAY THEM ANYTHING. They use fake names Mr. is Carl The owner he’s an *** & Get really nasty when you don’t want to pay the 30 year debit he brought for $10 THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM DONT NOT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY SCAM SCAM SCAM
