I hired WCM to move me from California to Colorado in januaryThe boys showed up and broke down furniture and were in and outWhile loading the truck they mentioned how they liked all our shoes that were in clear totes taped sealed shutThey also mentioned they were in a band and that the moving truck with all my belongings was actually going to a shady part of Los Angeles for the night so they could go to thei gigWell low and behold almost month the later I got our truck and belongings deliveredAll the show totes were untapped and emptyI filed a claim for my belongings I had over $3,in lossesThey rebutted with $returnThis company is a jokeSave your time and belongings don't go the cheaper route it won't do you any goodNot only will my CC not refund my moving expense I'm out the additional losses as wellThey also couldn't ever find my king size bed which was also to be compensated with the $My bed alone cost $1200!! This company is a joke I can't stress

Seemed helpful when first calling, then they NEVER showed up at the appointed date and time of the move Was moving my year old mother across the country and despite me confirming dates with the moving company they dropped the ball and never showed up Had to scramble at the last minute and find another company Took weeks to receive a refund on the depost

My family decided to re-locate to the Oregon Coast from Las Vegas. We knew we would need help moving, as I would be occupied during the majority of the move. We decided on West Coast Movers due to their rates. Overall, we are happy with the services we received. The one issue that we incurred was we had more stuff than we thought, and it required us to pay for some extra space. Which was not an issue, as I felt the rate increase was reasonable. They were friendly throughout the entire process. We would definitely use their services again. It was easy, and that was a huge relief. Thanks guys!

After loading, they quoted a price more than double the original estimate, partly because the volume was greater than estimated (at least by their measurement) but also due to additional charges they suddenly came up with. I requested a delivery date one month later, adding that I might be ready to receive it before then. The driver said to call them if I wanted an earlier date and they would try to accommodate that. I moved into my new place early, so requested an earlier delivery date. I was told that the original agreed date was the earliest it could be done. That date came and I called to ask where my delivery was. I was told I must wait another 7 to 10 days. I called 7 days later and was told delivery was likely to be another 10 days. I asked to speak to a supervisor, got an answering machine and left a message. No response. And still no delivery.
This company is by the far the worst company ever. We are a military family and we were moving from Camp Pendleton CA to San Antonio TX. We were promised a date of 12/17/15 and 12/18/15. Not only did they not show up but there were 2 and a half days late. The finally arrived on 12/19/15 later in the day and ended up being there till 630 am the next morning. They gave us a binding estimate of a little under $2500 and when they finally loaded everything in the truck it jumped to almost $8000. There website and rights and responsibilites state they have to give you a written estimate before loading all items into the truck or the bidning estimate is reafirmed. Now, they say they will call us back because I dont think they realized I was actually going to look for everything. Not only that but it says the bening estimate is guaranteed and they provide all the supplies needed but instead they charged us $900 for packaging. Worst company DO NOT USE WEST COAST MOVERS

On Sunday evening, 20 Nov, one guy shows up at 5:30 PM with no helpers. Just to finish in some reasonable amount of time my wife and I had to do half the work--without any reduction in price.
I'm sincerely begging anyone who has anything to do with this company to run. If you are looking to move and hear from them... Hang up- Call ANY other company but do not go with West Coast Movers. When they arrived (late) for pickup the driver ran over our power line!! They moved slower than a small child could have and we ended up missing my husbands high school reunion despite having hours to load our small two bedroom duplex before we needed to be there. They quoted me one price then this almost doubled due to the way they packed the truck. (I work in shipping- If you can't load correctly obviously more space is taken). The paperwork says they have 30 days to deliver so of course they took until 31 days to do this. Then the day of delivery they charged me a long carry fee because the driver said he couldn't pull on to our road (which there is plenty of room on) so instead he parked (and blocked in) our side street. I thought all of this would be the worst of it. Until they started bringing in my possessions... Almost every box was at least damaged on the surface, a majority completely crushed or open. We checked off each number as they walked in and noted appx 10 items short including one end table! As we started opening boxes we discovered SO MANY broken things- My speakers, my dishes (FROM MY WEDDING), my wine glasses (THAT WERE MY LATE MOMS), my BED, my lamp... I could go on but you get the point. Also since they loaded things on an 18 wheeler with other peoples moves as well they marked my items with a "MN" to visibly see which is which... So they marked WITH SHARPIE on my plastic totes, MY BED, etc... I'm absolutely appalled and shocked. We are started the process currently with their CSI program but so far I believe we are going to be offered next to nothing. At a quick glance estimate we are already $1000 into damages not to mention the other problems. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY.
This company is terrible. They clearly have no respect for their customers and do not even try to retain your business. My wife and I moved with them and the quote was WAY off. They showed up 9 days late for delivery. Stuff was missing. The movers do not handle your stuff with care at all. They showed up in a VERY large truck that did not fit into our parking lot so they wanted to charge us a shuttle fee of $250. After hours of arguing with their \"customer service\" rep they would not budge. Therefore, I had to rent a uhaul and they moved all my stuff from their truck into a uhaul. Then I had to move it all up to my 2nd floor apartment by myself. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any kind of company including mechanics, car salesmen, plumbers, or any other customer-based business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I would have liked to stay in the small amount range but unfortunately my [redacted] had to be moved. Ha! I am relocating from UTAH to CALIFORNIA. I was impressed that they didn't charge me to store my items for the two weeks. The moving company was 1.5 days late due to an employee/driver illness. It was frustrating not being contacted by customer service to be informed of the issues the company was having. However, the moving guys were on top of it and called to inform me they were on their way. Once they arrived it was a ton of fun, goofing off with them and enjoying their company while they packing my belongings. I was quoted 890 sq ft but took up 1500 sq ft. I'm in a small two bed condo that is 900 sq ft, they picked up my storage unit as well. I really enjoyed the two guys that moved me and I look forward to them returning for delievry
