Non responsive contact from the owner of the company regarding a repair invoice I need to keep with my records of his work done on my roof.
I hired this company to put a new roof on my home after an insurance claim in August of 2011. I interviewed about 5 companies prior to deciding on C & N Construction. I noticed a couple of small leaks in the home in April of 2012 & immediately contacted the owner (on a Saturday). He eventually sent someone out after a couple of more phone calls to him, & fixed the problem, so I thought. Almost 1 yr later, I noticed one of the leaks had returned, so again he was called. And again, he sent someone out to "fix the leak". I asked him for a repair invoice for the second call out to my home and he assured me that he would send it to me. This was back in April of this year and I have still not received my invoice. I have talked to him on several occasions and sent several text messages to him. Until recently, he has responded to my texts' and returned my phone calls, but I am convinced he is avoiding me hoping I will just forget and go away. I am an avid record keeper and I need this invoice for my documentation. This is the first complaint against this company that I am aware of, but I have sent the owner a letter of complaint before and of course still have record of it. I hired this company because of the experience they had, but also for the warranty on the workmanship for up to five years that they provide. I do not feel I have received fair service and if I was asked to recommend a local roofer, it would not be C & N construction. All I ask for is my repair invoice. Hopefully the second call I had to make to them will be my last.
