Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]

[redacted]

Thanks for meeting with me at your home to discuss your concerns. After inspecting the roof we met and went over the findings of my evaluation. I agree that their are some areas on your roof that need to be addressed. I am happy to make those repairs. Those repairs...

will be completed this week on Tuesday 10/25 and Wednesday 10/26. Additionally, we went over the findings on the chimney. As per the pictures I have shown you, the entire chimney needs to be rebuilt from the roof line up. It is currently allowing water into the home. The crown is completely gone and the bricks are cracked clean through. If this is something that is not in the budget at this time, I would be happy to have our technician install a tarp around it to keep the water out as best as possible.
Our goal is to build roof systems that last a lifetime!!!! I am sorry that we have had these issue, but I assure you, we WILL get them taken care of.

Thanks for your business!!

Sincerely,

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, so long as they complete the work in a timely fashion.  I'd assume it would reasonable to allow a month for the work to be completed - two weeks for materials and two weeks to schedule and complete the remaining half day of work.  If the work is not completed by January 15th then I will reopen my complaint.Sincerely, [redacted]

C&R Boger Construction does not guarantee any exact value increase when performing a project. That is not our company policy or business practice.
Mr. [redacted] contacted our office making such a statement was made to him when writing his contract and he said it was put in writing.
Mr [redacted]...

purchased a roofing project from C&R Boger Construction for $14,904 plus tax $1311.55 for a grand total of $16,215.55.
Mr. [redacted] is stating that C&R Boger Construction Inc. guaranteed that his home value would increase to a total of $16,560 after the completion of the roof. I do not know how any company could guarantee any price value increase guarantee on a home based off one thing or a company that would or could guarantee a value increase on sales tax paid.
C&R Boger has a low price guarantee. We clearly state that we will beat any competitors price on a equal project or we will refund the customers money plus 5%. Now if you do the math on the original contract price $14,904 and you add 5% to that number you come out with $16,560. That would constitute our low price guarantee.
I spoke with Mr. [redacted] and gave him the benefit of the doubt and said “Maybe one of my guys made a mistake” I told him I would work with him regardless.  I asked him to provide me with both of the appraisals that were performed on his house one before the roof one after. He did not provide me with that appraisals. I called him on the telephone and asked him for a copy of the appraisals and he said he did not have them. I asked him how he could base his statement about his home if he in fact did not order a second appraisal. He stated that he called the company that did the first appraisal and explained that he had a new roof put on he said they verbally said he could expect to get an additional $6-8,000.00 when selling the home.
I explained to Mr. [redacted] that I was not comfortable with his evaluation and that it would not be acceptable. I requested Mr. [redacted] order two more appraisals from separate companies other than the company that provided the first appraisal at my expense. I told him I wanted an independent evaluation done. He stated that was fine. I gave Mr. [redacted] all of my personal contact information and told him I looked forward to hearing from him.
That was the last contact Mr. [redacted] has made with me or the company. I have left him voicemails.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I have now had a chance to talk to the company owner.  And we talked through some of the issues.  We agreed to cancel the contract with full refund of deposit.  Details will be discussed in a call Friday.  I don't want to consider the complaint closed until that call and deposit is refunded.
Sincerely,[redacted]

All the service items have been taken care of.  WE are currently working on getting the fireplace issued resolved.  I went out and met with the customer.  If the fireplace insert can no t be repaired to customers satisfaction it will be replaced.

I will be contacting the customer to get further information.  That production manager is not longer with the company.  I will see that the customer is taken care of.

Im checking into this matter.  I know that the trim the customers wanted is not available thru [redacted] until Oct. 3.  I was of the understanding my sales and production team was in contact with the customer.  I will contact the customer by phone and schedule a meeting.

I met with the [redacted]'s and went over their project. They had [redacted] installed prior to our window installation.  The trim around the windows was not installed correctly.  When our windows were installed this should have been addressed.  The windows where not installed...

incorrectly but flashing was missed in some places.  A better way to install would be to remove the existing trim and replace in with [redacted] with a new flashing detail.   I told the [redacted]'s that we would remove the old trim.  We would install new hardi 5/4 trim around the windows with a new flashing detail.  Also we would have the trim pre-painted pryor to install.  The trim has been ordered and will be pre-painted.  Once the product is ready a installation date will be set.  The [redacted]'s seemed to be satisfied with solution.

We were contracted by Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] to perform a large remodel on their property in Seattle. The project consisted of roofing, windows and siding. When we initially met with the customer they expressed an interest in changing the opening sizes of the...

windows. I repeatedly tried to discourage the customer from altering sizes. The change makes permitting a logistical nightmare as well as very costly. The customer insisted, we moved forward with their wishes.
We began the project, had it time lined out and had the crews ready to go. We expected a roughly 4-5 week process from start to finish. We cleared our schedules to complete project.  We started the project and were visited by a city inspector and was shut down. The building was in disarray and there had been work performed by other contractors that was not permitted properly. The city inspector shut us down completely on all facets of the project. The city wanted an architect to redraw the plans and present them to the city, which was made very clear to the customer. The customer in fact had that done. When the plans were done and presented to the city, the window portion was still not approved.
We met with the customer and signed an addendum to the contract and proceeded with the project with alterations to the window portion on the project. We were in agreeance and we moved forward with the roofing project.
This has been a challenging project from beginning to date. We were set to go on the original install date, had material purchased, crews ready to go and were halted in our tracks. We had to put the project back in play, unfortunately there were other projects that were now scheduled in front of the [redacted]’s project. The project would have been completed in a timely manner had we not been held up by poor design choices in regards to the windows.
We are still diligently working with the customer to complete the project. C&R Boger Construction Inc. has the capacity to complete this project and many more in a timely manner. The company installs $150,000-$250,000 a week in residential window, roofing and siding projects.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:We were never on any schedule.  It TOOK FOUR YEARS...

TO GET MY ROOF FINISHED.  The only confirmation of one appoint was the last one which was AFTER my complaints to the Revdex.com were filed.  I have a message on my answering machine to confirm Kevin wanting me to help him out 'with the Revdex.com situation.'  And this is after several attempts where they failed to make scheduled appointments AND WOULD JUST SHOW UP UNANNOUNCED AND GET ON TOP OF MY HOUSE.  Kevin even bragged about firing the guy who was out here initially several years ago who wrongly diagnosed our leakage issue after they had torn off and replaced our roof...the leak was he reason we agreed to the $7,544.46 (over $10,000 after financing) investment in our home, sparing my husband the labor to do it.  IT'S WHY WE HIRED A COMPANY TO DO IT.  THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ROOFING EXPERTS. I have been in contact with our financing company who paid CR Boger for our roof and dropped the dime to them about what a snake in the grass company CR Boger is.  NO ONE SHOULD BE LETTING THIS COMPANY NEAR THEIR HOME.  I have damage in the ceiling of my bathroom that I cannot afford to fix right now and is being held together with paint.  If there is a class action lawsuit to join into I will.  No one should have to have the expensive and stressful experience that I have had with these guys.  YELP is covered with negative reviews ( but it's under C &R Boger in Kent,  WA an ) and shame on me for not doing my homework.  Sincerely,[redacted]

[redacted],
I do apologize for the lack of timely communication regarding your new roof project. There is no doubt that there is room for improvement in this area. As we restructure our internal systems and people, we have experienced some issues that we are solving as we speak. Last we I contacted...

you personally to inform you of the progress on your roof system. At that time 85% of the roof was completed, the gutters and downspouts were installed, the grounds were clean and any and all extra materials and trailers were removed. We are currently awaiting that addition customs metal from our supplier NuRay to complete your project. Kaitlin has confirmed today, that we expect the materials to be available for us to pick up on Thursday of this week. Once they are available, we will pick them up and deliver them directly to your home. On Monday, we can complete your new roof! As you can tell, our roofer are professional and care about every detail. I have seen pictures of your home and it looks great. The workmanship is expert and will be completed next week. Once completed, we will inspect it as part of our own internal process to assure years of happiness and enjoyment of your roof system.
Should you have any issues or concerns in the future, we will stand behind our work for years to come.
Once again, I want to sincerely, apologize for the delay in starting your project and the poor communication as your project began. We hope that since that time you have seen the difference.......effective communication as well as a quality roof project.
If I can be of further help, please give me a call anytime.

Sincerely,
