C & R Roofing

On 12/01/04, C&R Roofing installed a new roof on our commercial property located at [redacted] N [redacted] in [redacted] This included a 10 year warranty on all materials.
In February, 2014, there was a leak and after several calls, they repaired it on 02/05/2014, but the workmen did not have a receipt for me when I paid them. I requested that we be mailed one, but I did not receive it. On 03/25/2014, they repaired another leak and again, I was not given a receipt. I called and spoke with [redacted] and she mailed me the receipts and I received them about the first of April. See attachments. As you can see, the receipts are for labor and materials.
I called her to ask why we were charged for materials since they should have been covered by the warranty and she never gave me a straight answer but instead backed up and said she felt that she thought our building had a structural problem causing the leaks. I spoke with her repairman [redacted] when he was fixing it this last time and he said the problem was from the strips of rubber coming apart. I had the building checked by a third party and there is nothing wrong with the building structurally. We ended our phone call and she called me back and offered to put on a new roof and deduct the repair charges from the cost. Why would she do this if she really thought it was a structural problem? You would not want to put a new roof on a building with a structural problem. I told her I did not want them doing any more work on our building since they wouldn't even honor the warranty on it. I have since had a reputable roofer here in [redacted] inspect the roof and he said there is nothing wrong with the building structurally but that the problems we were having are due to substandard installation and workmanship. I am having to have the entire roof replaced due to the insulation being soaking wet throughout. [redacted] also told me the roof was old. I understand that it is 9 and 1/2 years old but the warranty was for 10 years and I think the roof should have lasted for at least that long and they should honor their warranty. I am enclosing copies of the original receipt along with the receipts for the repairs.
In the mean time, I had my tenants, a doctor's office, sitting down there with a bucket in the middle of their reception room.
I am 88 years of age and my daughter is 67 and we are not in the best of health and have to rely on who we believe are reputable contractors to do business with. One of the reasons we chose C&R in the first place was that they were a Revdex.com member. I feel that they have done us awfully wrong and want you and the public in general to know and be careful when dealing with this company.
I do not wish to speak with anyone from C&R Roofing since I have tried to reason with them over the phone and that is not possible. They have taken advantage of us.

June of 2009 had roof replaced on house and garage. C and R Roofing gave us a 30 yr tile and a 5 yr labor warranty. contract follows, re-nail and tighten all roof decking, install ice-guard on all gutter eves and valley areas and around chimney. install metal drip-edge on all outer eves, install insulation felt over entire roof area, valleys will be cut for California weave. remove existing vents and install ridge-vent on all peaks for correct ventilation. Replace all flashings such as soil stack boot, chimney. install counter flashing where needed.October 2010 roof leaks I call C & R roofing he comes to house says he needs $2000.00 cash to repair, I go to the bank cash a check and give them the $2000.00, and C & R never fixed the leak. all calls to C & R have been neglected.April 2011 I hire Absolute roofing to fix the leak and they charged me $1230.00 to fix it.Remove a 10 x 10 area of shingles around chimney install iceshield, new singles new flashing.All this work should have been done by C & R Roofing under the labor warranty.
