I went to have car inspected 2nd time using them for this work. I had efficient and good quick inspection last time. This time the business did not bother to call me when it was done. I called them around 3 in the afternoon and told ready. I got there only to be told it failed inspection and needed back brakes. Well this would have been nice to know before I walked 20 min in 90 degree heat I told them I would call back as needed car to go to work in 15 min. It would have been nice to know sooner and then I might have been able to leave car there for repairs. I ends up calling them back to get estimate and the quote was 134. I was told this was reasonable by spouse who heard the quote on speaker. I took the car in and actually got a call it was ready this time via voicemail. I called back to make sure of price and if they all of sudden said needed more work. Now the quote was 155 repair and for the failed inspection said the office Manager. Well I told my spouse and he said wasn't 134 I said that's what I thought I heard too. We go together to make sure and so I did not have to walk. The bill said 155 repairs and 1 for inspection. I was okay to the 1 dollar inspection sticker but did not understand the new increase in repair cost. I asked the office manager can you tell me why the cost is now higher. Her answer was a flat no. Same lady who quoted me the earlier lower quote. We pay the bill still not understanding and then my husband asks who do we talk to. She says Keith and then proceeds to take two to three calls while were waiting for her to get Keith. She is completely ignoring us and hoping for us to just leave. No eye contact or further communication like I will get him for you or give me a minute. Not a word or look. Finally I Am like we need some answer as we also have to get my son to school who is also waiting with us. So I say out loud to my husband and for the office manager I will go outside and ask the mechanic who I do need to talk to and about this bill. I go outside to the mechanic and say your office manager is on the phone and Basically too busy to help a customer standing right in front of her to tell me me who do I talk to. He actually looks like he rolled his eyes but not in surprise like everyday occurrence. She can not be Bothered. Well this said mechanic is working on a car but actually lifts his head and stand upright to give me an actual answer. He was not there but would be back in 10 min. This office manager could not have Put one of her calls on hold to tell me this or at least ask like I did. This was poor customer service on her part and I told her so. I stated I would not come back. I then Left with family and as I was going to my car which was by the mechanic. There is the very busy office Manager talking to the mechanic about me. I hear the mechanic Say over 20 dollars. Office mgr sees me and quickly walks back inside to answer that very busy phone that she has not been attending. I say yeah I was quoted a different as I am heading to my car. I then am pulling out of my car and see the owner in his tow truck. I presume that is him. I stop him as he gets out tell him that I am not happy about the quote and then waiting quite a while to get his whereabouts. The office Manager explains that she was taking calls at the time. Sorry I did your job for you. She then leaves. The owner then says he will get my 20 dollars and I am like to myself that he is doing right. He comes back from inside and hands me the cash. I'm pleasantly happy until he says mam all our time here is to cater to you and not my full packed station of cars and that the office manager was busy taking calls. This was not called for I was never rude to him or to the office manager am I not allowed to say poor customer service. I have never once been talked to like that by any business owner. I was shocked. I appreciated that he did say (mam) I stated that if she told me you were not in the office I would not have had to interrupt your mechanic. I actually would have gone back to this repair shop as he made good but not now. I prefer to be treated with some decency and respect. I will continue back with another mechanic and owner I have used before who has always done good work and always respectful. He he stopped doing inspections but will be doing them soon. Thank goodness!!

charged for work that was not completed I was lied to
this is the most dishonest shop I have ever seen
took my 07 Tahoe in for service was told it probably needed an oil pressure switch
the owner told me the intake manifold had to be removed to replace this part they called me a few hours later said it was finished and asked if I had noticed my check engine light was on it was not on when I dropped it off It wasn't on when I dropped it off or before that was the first lie that got me concerned . they said they changed the oil pressure switch and changed the oil . when I picked up my truck I asked [redacted] whom I assume is the owner if the had to remove my intake if they put on a new gasket he said the gasket looked fine so they put it back ok so I paid .
when I got home I opened the hood to find no sign of the intake ever being removed
after further inspection I noticed that the oil filter was also not changed it was the one I put on myself several months ago because the sticker on it was faded out and was not readable clearly was not installed that day .
called back up there with my concerns and was told by mr [redacted] who was irate about my complaint he assured me my intake was removed because the switch he replaced was under it . he said bring it back next morning and he would prove it to me
went back this morning to hear his tech tell me he didn't have to remove the intake to change this part right in front of [redacted] who tried to act all surprised oh I didn't know he didn't have to remove the intake he said .then why did I pay for this ? and why did he tell me it had to be removed because it was under the intake perhaps mr [redacted] dosent know his own business I highly doubt it and if he was so surprised it wasn't removed then why the afternoon before when I asked if they put on a new intake gasket did he assure me mine was still good and they put it back on I asked him why he told me this if now he didn't know if it was removed or not sounds like someone is a liar and got caught up in it guess he didn't expect me to check the work he was wrong again .so anyway it was $355 he knew I had him on the intake manifold but all he would refund me is half the labor on the intake manifold which was $94 so im still out $260 for work that was never done on my vehicle ....THIS SHOP IS DISHONEST!!!! LIARS LIARS!!!!!!! RIP PEOPLE OFF FOR THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!! I AM BY FAR DONE WITH THIS PLACE!!! Revdex.com IS NEXT THEN AN ATTORNEY!!!!!! WE'LL SEE HOW INSULTED U ARE THEN MR [redacted]!!!!!
took my truck immediately to another shop they saw no sign of any of this work being done and told me the intake never has to be removed to change oil pressure switch
but mr [redacted] said he has done 100 or more of them and has an 08 his self and it is a common thing with these . but when I had a complaint all of the sudden he says I just work up front im not a tech so now I have to spend more money to get this work done for real this time thanks a lot c&s they should change it to b&s

I was involved in a one vehicle collision, which left my vehicle in need of repairs. Through someone I had met, who claimed to be a mechanic and who I had been told had done body work on another vehicle, told me about C&S Auto Repair, and recommended me to bring my car there for the work to be done, and so I did. There were quite a few repairs that needed to be done, however, based upon the "word" of the person who had gotten work done by this person [redacted], I felt moderately comfortable with bringing my car there for repair and body work. I got my car towed to their shop. Originally, the shop quoted me at $2.6k of repair work, which included the costs of repairs, body work (which included painting of new parts), and labor. They informed me that all new parts would be used. I, [redacted], was not the one paying for the repairs. My grandmother, [redacted], and father, [redacted], would be splitting the total costs of repairs. The owner, whose name I cannot recall, as well as the "mechanic" [redacted], informed me that all NEW parts would be used on my vehicle. I informed my grandmother and father of the price and they preferred to not get the new parts painted, but instead to just get all of the body work and repairs done and the paint could be done at a later time, because the most important factor was making sure the car could be driven and all major repair works were completed. Once the $1200 in parts was paid, the repair shop "ordered" the new parts and began repairs. The repairs were finished within a 2 weeks time. I picked the car up after 2 weeks of completion. When I picked the car up I immediately noticed, that the hood of the car was damaged and obviously not new. The receipt said the hood was $250. Along with a used/damaged hood, my father and I noticed that the overall repair work was unsatisfactory and below par. Also, the repair did not repair the air ventilation system, which is imperative to and operation, and they used ZIP TIES to hold up the bumper.
