In my opinion [redacted] is a criminal, not a contractor. He was recommended to build the house by a log home company and when contacted he talked a good talk. He obviously has experience in persuading people to put down a deposit then miraculously EVERY time he's supposed to start a job something happens and he delays the start date. After the delay he quits answering phone calls and emails and you're deposit of $10,000+ is gone. Do not waste your time considering this company to build your home! I think [redacted] belongs in jail!
Failure to complete contract. Failure to perform a TURN KEY job. Promised completion 9/12. To date, still have a broken window, no fireplace, etc.TURN KEY Contract signed 4/13/10. Delivery of materials received on lot in [redacted] City on 6/28/11. Contractor promised completion by August 2012. Cabin was not anywhere near complete when I arrived on 8/27 or 8/28/2012. Contractor promised I would be in a motel no longer than 2 weeks. I was in the motel until 12/1/12 . . . over 3 mos. During that time several county inspections were failed and the county would not issue a CO. The superintendent assigned to my cabin was constantly being called off my job to work on others. I saw the contractor twice. I personally met with the granite contractors twice and signed off on their work. After the CO was finally obtained (late November), I had to meet with [redacted] Power workers on the site several times to get the permanent power installed. There are large glass windows in front of the cabin and one was cracked when I arrived in August, 2012. The superintendent assigned to my cabin told me it broke when they were installing it and the contractor had a new one on order. The window is still cracked, In September 2013 I was told again that the window was on order. A fireplace which is a line item in the contract has never been installed. There are problems with the locks and the steps need repair. I sent a punch list to the contractor on 12/1/12 when I spent the night there. I was promised by the superintendent that ALL items would be promptly taken care of.A couple of months ago I found out that my superintendent was no longer working for the contractor. The contractor had no idea what needed to still be completed in the cabin although I had cc'd him on the punch list. After weeks and weeks of no response from my contractor, I finally got a hold of him on 9/3/13. He gave me his "word" that everything would be taken care of within 2 weeks. He assigned another superintendent to handle it. My contractor did NOT keep his word. Despite my constant e-mails, texts and phone calls, both contractor and superintendent are unresponsive.I did not receive a TURN KEY job. As of 10/23/2013, the job I contrated for has never been completed.Desired SettlementImmediate completion or funds to pay another contractor to finish the job.
