C & S TRUCKING Reviews (1)

I took my Commercial Deisel Truck in to see why it seem to be stuck between the highs and lows when shifting. It didnt have shift issues at all, it went into gear very easily but the rpm just seem not to go up and down when needed. I told them that I felt it was my "Air Line on the back of my transmission" they said they would check on that for me. When I went back in to check on my Business vehicle I was told that I would have to pay to have my transmission removed and they were going to have to send it out to have it repaired. So they sent it to CowTown Gear Inc. who state on their receipt that they "Repaired Problem Only" which no one can explain to me what they means but they re-interated with a comment that an Overhaul was not done. S&C stated they were sending it to be sychronized, which it was already sychronized meaning the timing was correct.

Once they called to tell me my problem had been corrected and I could pick my Truck up I immediately went to pick it up so that I could get back to work; needless to say when I started my truck the sound coming from under my engine was unbearable, I took it out to run it around the corner and found that the shifting process was no longer easy, all of the panel instruments were not working (Gear Sensor, Speedometer, Gas Gauge, Mile Counter, Oil Gauge, Battery Gauge) none of them were moving. My gear shift jumps out of gear, grinds whenever I get above the ninth gear, and the gear shifts jumps all over the place as if the gear does not close once the clutch is released.

Once I got back to the repair location I told the mechanic everything I found and he said he fixed the transmission, I told him no he did not the same issue was occurring and they have added many more to the situation. His words to me "The transmission has to come back out so he could check the gear issue, and it would cost me again for the labor" which the first time cost me $800, I told him I would not pay $800 additional dollars to drop the transmission when the issues that I found did not exist before I brought my truck in. My truck is burning more fuel, my panel is not working and the air line was not repaired and I spent over $3200 and they will not fix the things they broke and nor will they fix the issue I paid for.
